Baklava
Wow, if I had known baklava was this easy to make, I would've been making it years ago. I'm no expert pastry cook, and the phyllo was not very forgiving - but the taste was just as good as the expensive baklava you get at the bakery.
One review suggested cooking the sugar/honey mixture first. But with the baklava baking for 50 minutes; I found that was enough time to boil sugar and water and simmer with the honey and vanilla for 20 minutes.
