Brownie Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
OMG!!! This is so good. I whipped up a brownie recipe from Allrecipes but I didn't have the ingredients on hand for the frosting that recipe called for. I stumbled across this recipe and I am so glad I did. This is awesome.

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2007
Loved it! In my opinion, the flavoring was just right. I will be making these often because they are so easy and tasty. This was my first attempt at making homemade Sloppy Joe Sandwiches. I won't be looking elsewhere for the "perfect" recipe; I've already found it.

Party Kielbasa

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2006
Awesome recipe. It's so quick and easy. My husband brought a batch to work and everyone loved it. When he told them that it was just grape jelly and ketchup, they couldn't believe it. Give this recipe a try; you won't be disappointed.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2006
Okay, I've made this recipe three times. The first time, I made it exactly the way it's listed here minus the crumb topping (I wanted to cut down on the calories). The second time I substituted sugar with Splenda and the third time I used Splenda again but substituted the oil with applesauce and the milk with buttermilk. I was just experimenting; here is my opinion: 1) the original recipe is good but not what I expected due to all of the 5-star reviews. I feel like it is missing something (besides the crumb topping)but I can't pinpoint it. 2) The batch I made with the Splenda was just as good, I didn't notice much of a taste difference than the original recipe. 3) The batch I made with the Splenda and applesauce and buttermilk was...well, spongy. They werent horrible, but they weren't as good as the first two batches. They really need the oil. Although they were moist, the texture just didn't feel right. I think I will keep looking for more Blueberry Muffin recipes to try but until I find one that I am satisfied with I will keep this one on hand. Of course, I will be making the orignal recipe and not one of my experimental ones.

Tuna Noodle Casserole I

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2006
I have made this recipe a few times. Both hubby and I love it. I doubled the sauce mixture, added about 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese instead of cheddar (I didn't have any cheddar cheese on hand) and I added some freshly ground black pepper to the sauce. I also melted 2 tbsp. of butter and 3 tbsp. of bread crumbs and sprinkled the mixture on top. I don't make this dish that often...I don't know why, it's so YUMMY!
