Crepes

These are so simple and delicious we have them all the time - savory and sweet. The only add-in I didn't notice in any other reviews that I like to use are assorted extracts depending on my mood... almond, orange, etc

Guacamole

This is now a staple and I've become "known" for my guac. It's so fresh... People are always amazed when I share the recipe and they see how easy it is! I think the best part is how easy it is to 'tweek' for individual tastes. I have a good friend who loves heat and hates cilantro, so I make a batch heavy on the cayenne with no cilantro for her. I'm just the opposite, so I make a second batch heavy on the cilantro with no cayenne for me. Both have a little extra garlic and lime juice as we both love those...

Extreme Chocolate Cake

I substituted hot coffee for the water and cream for the milk. It turned out really well. Just not the ultimate fabulous I was expected... little better than out of a box, but not by much.

Huge favorite. A good friend hints around about a new batch every 3 weeks or so... My changes; I always substitue honey for corn syrup. When made according to the original, these are way too big for me to get my mouth around, so I cut the krispie treat portion in half (1/2 cup honey, 1/2 cup sugar, 3 cups rice cereal, and 1/4 cup butter - cooked together; 3/4 cup peanut butter mixed in off heat.) And since the frosting is the best part... I added half again on the chips (3/4 cup of each.) I'm going to try the marshmallow substitute for sugar next...

Banana Sour Cream Bread

Love, love, love this bread!!! I always get tons of compliments. So simple to make and freezes beautifully. I like to sprinkle some extra cinnamon sugar on top before baking. It makes for a yummy little sweetness all the way around (since the pan is already coated in it...)
