Swiss Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2011
My husband LOVED it and said to me that he did because it was chicken WITH SKIN (it was not). That is a compliment from him. You have to use golden mushroom soup, soooo yummy! Otherwise followed directions exactly. 5 stars for being so tasty and so easy.

Beef and Pasta

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2011
I liked that it was s uper easy and I had most of the ingredients on hand. I used a larger can of tomatoes, but my husband said it could be saucier, so maybe a little bit of tomato sauce would be good. I added extra garlic, oregano and Worcestershire, plus a splash of red wine. Also, I added Italian cheese at the end. Easy and yummy.

Yummy! I sprinkled garlic, salt, pepper and a little poultry seasoning on the chicken and then browned in butter and olive oil on each side, then baked at 350 covered with the soup mixed with a little half and half.

Hot Dog Macaroni Bake

My husband and 3 year old LOVED this. I think I would like it more with shredded cheddar vs. velveta. I did uncover towards the end and sprinkled with mexican blend cheese.

Loved it! So easy too. I poked chicken with a fork and marinated for about 3.5 hours. I baked in the oven and then browned in a pan after - perfect! Oh and I used chicken tenders and a bottle of Safeway brand Italian dressing.

Slow Cooker Lemon Garlic Chicken II

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2007
Love this recipe and it's now a staple in my home. I like to use lots of oregano and slightly brown in a pan first. Sometimes I double the sauce part for lots of flavor. I always serve with rice - delish!

I doubled the recipe and it came out perfect! I followed the instructions exactly except I omited the stems (I instead individually wrapped them in cellophane and tied with black ribbons). Thanks for posting - these will be fun to play around with for different holidays!

Cheeseburger and Fries Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 5, 2007
Very good! I just made this for my small family, so I made half of the recipe. I used 1 lb ground beef, 1/2 large onion, lots of garlic powder, 3/4 can cheese soup and 1/2 can mushroom soup. I actually still used the 16 oz of fries and 1 cup of cheddar on top. I really liked it - thx! Oh - and I did prebake the fries while I was cooking the meat, etc.

I loved it! It was super easy to make and tasted great. I added cumin and oregano as suggested, plus a little garlic powder in addition to the garlic. I also added 1/2 can of chopped tomatoes and chopped green pepper (omited the mushrooms). I also added a bit of Italian blend shredded cheese in addition to the cheddar. My husband loved it and we had plenty for leftover lunches. Thx!

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2006
My family loved it! I added a touch of taco seasoning and cut the recipe in half also. In only used 4 small tortillas in a 2 qt. dish, and I kept the cheese amount the same as the original recipe. Very good - my husband took it to work for lunch the next day. Served with Spanish rice and refried beans w/ cheese on top.

Slow Cooker Pepper Steak II

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2006
Loved it! I accidentally used worcester instead of soy sauce at first, but I drained it and then added the soy sauce - maybe this touch of worcester enhanced the flavor. Otherwise I followed it exactly (halved the recipe) and it was perfect. Might be salty for some, but not me.
