Deluxe Ham Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2015
We all loved this! Great way to use up that leftover Easter ham. I followed the recipe exactly except used a bit more ham and cooked in a 2 qt casserole dish. Fabulous! Will definitely make every time I've got leftover ham!

French Silk Chocolate Pie I

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2012
I've made this pie several times now--most recently with a chocolate graham cracker crust--Yum! As some reviewers have said, the recipe doesn't make a ton of filling--but it's so rich! I top it with fresh whipped cream and to me, it's the perfect chocolate pie. If the mix doesn't fluff up enough--as happened to me once in a very hot kitchen--try putting the bowl in the refrigerator for a little while and then beat some more. Worked great for me. Thanks for this delicious recipe!

Easy Lemon Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2012
What could be easier? As one reviewer suggested, I used a package of unsweetened lemon kool-aid instead of lemon extract--the lemon flavor really popped!

Lightning Gravy

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2012
I've made this several times--my youngest son likes gravy on his mashed potatoes and this is a super easy way to make him happy even when I'm not cooking something that lends itself to making 'real' gravy. I normally use beef boullion and the gravy color is fine! Thanks for the recipe!

Peanut Butter Noodles

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2012
I've made this several times--we love it! The only change I make is adding some crushed red pepper (which I already have on hand) instead of the hot chili paste. I think the little bit of heat makes the flavor perfect. And I just use regular thin spaghetti (which I also already have on hand) rather than the Udon noodles. Thanks so much for sharing this simple and delicious recipe!

Herald's Impossibly Easy Cheeseburger Pie

Reviewed: Mar. 8, 2012
I followed some other reviewers' suggestions and cut back the milk a bit and added a drained can tomatoes and green chilis instead of the sliced tomato. I also doubled the garlic salt and halved the pepper. Skipped the oregano altogether. We LOVED it! It was easy and delicious! I'll definitely make this again.

Tender Chicken Nuggets

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2012
I've made this a couple of times now. It's super-easy and my kids love it. I added garlic salt the second time which made it less healthy, but definitely enhanced the flavor.

Corn Casserole I

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2012
I followed the recipe as written, and let the dish stand for about 20 mins. before serving. It was excellent! Kind of a bread-pudding consistency. I'll definitely make this again!

My favorite deviled eggs! I added the horseradish a litte at a time until it was just right for my taste.

Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Aug. 1, 2011
My 18 year old son wanted soft pretzels -- I found this recipe for him and he made them -- twice! Delicious both times and he didn't change a thing.

Eileen's Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2011
My family really enjoyed this recipe. I picked it because I had most of the ingredients. I only had 1 cup of Italian bread crumbs and a 1/2 pkg of leftover onion soup mix, so that's all I used. Didn't have Worcestershire sauce either, so I used a couple Tbsps of Steak Sauce. It really came out great--very moist and delicious!

Spritz Cookies IV

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
Buttery and delicious! I've tried many spritz recipes and this one makes the lightest cookies. I've made it several times. I follow the recipe exactly except I only bake for 8 minutes since my press makes smaller cookies. The dough is stickier if you don't chill it, but it still works very well in the press.

Easy Shake and Bake Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2009
This recipe was fantastic! It's really chicken oven-fried in butter--certainly not the healthiest "baked" chicken recipe--but Wow! My teenage boys and their friends raved about this dish! It is so simple and so delicious--this will definitely be a regular treat for my family.

Buttery Spritz Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2006
The cookies made with this recipe were much better than with the recipe that came with the cookie press. The dough was easy to work with without having to chill it.
