Company Cheesecake

SO GOOD! I made this for my husband for Valentines Day and topped it with homemade blueberry sauce. He said it's the best I've ever made which is a huge compliment to this recipe because I love to bake and bake all of the time. I did use the water bath, baked for 45 minutes and turned the oven off for 1 hour.

Antipasto Squares

Very good, and easy to make! I used garlic crescents. Also, I did not use the egg at all but I can't imagine we would have liked it better with it. Overall good recipe and DH said it's a keeper.

Orange and Maple Glazed Turkey

This is the best turkey I've ever made! I used a turkey breast and followed the recipe except I forgot the vermouth - we didn't miss it though. My husband went on and on about how good it was. Thanks for sharing your wonderful recipe.

Apple Sausage Pancakes

These pancakes are wonderful but the syrup is even better! I doubled the recipe and my husband ate the leftovers for lunch. He said they were just as good warmed up.

Rosemary Chicken with Orange-Maple Glaze

Just made this last night and it was VERY good! My husband made a face when he saw the ingredients but he ended up eating 2 large chicken breasts. Needless to say, this recipe is a keeper.

Hot Bacon Dressing

Excellent! Per other suggestions, I only used 1 cup sugar. Can't wait to try it on other things - maybe a dressing for a warm potato salad? P.S. I did boil some potatoes, thawed and heated the remaining dressing and poured over cubed potatoes. Very good - husband had 2 large helpings/

Charley's Slow Cooker Mexican Style Meat

Extremely good! I put in a can of beef broth and some green pepper per others suggestions. I put it in the crockpot on low for about 7 hours while I was gone. Then I shredded the meat and put it on high for about 1/2 hour. We made tacos and burritos with it and we all loved it.

Sweet and Sour Pork Patties

As others suggested, I made into meatballs, baked them one day ahead of time in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes. Also, I added pineapple chunks, sliced red peppers and onion to sauce/meatballs and simmered all together until the meatballs were heated through. The vegetables remained crisp-tender. I served over rice - AWESOME!

Spanish Rice II

We had some friends over for dinner and they LOVED this rice. I used brown rice (personal preference) and as some others suggested, I substituted chicken broth for the water. Thanks for sharing such an easy and great recipe.

Coconut Gumdrop Cookies

YUMMY!!! I substituted cherry flavored craisins for the gumdrops (personal preference). Also, per another suggestion, I used butter flavored shortening. Turned our perfect!

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Very Good! The only things I changed are; I added about 1/4 cup chili sauce and used chicken thighs and breasts (personal preference). My husband and I both thought it was awsome, in fact I took leftovers to work to share with a friend and had to make a copy of the recipe for her also.

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

OMG! This is really, really good. The only change I made was to substitute beef broth for the water and didn't add additional salt. My husband is a huge meat eater and absolutely loved this! Thanks for sharing the great recipe.

Spinach Tomato Tortellini

The only reason I only gave it 4 stars is because I made some changes. I purchased a case of roma tomatoes to make homemade spaghetti sauce and freeze for the winter. Since I had so much sauce I used it as the base and added the spinach, milk, etc. Also I used filled ravioli instead of tortellini. The result was FABULOUS!

Best Chicken Ever

Extremely good. I followed other suggestions and marinated the chicken approximately 4 hours in 3/4 cup sout cream and 1/4 cup SPICY ranch dressing. Also, I added paprika, garlic powder and italian seasoning to the corn flakes.

Very Good! I increased the corn starch (per other reviewer suggestions) And I added appx. 1 tsp. of almond extract because I like almond/fruit combinations.
