Mixed Vegetable Casserole

Blackberry Pie I

I am not a baker but did try this recipe as we have blackberries growing in the yard. I was not impressed. It was like too much flour. I won't be making this recipe again..

I made this recipe for Sunday dinner. I found that the bacon didn't crisp up and eating the fat off the bacon wasn't appealing. Need to figure out how to crisp up the bacon. I think I would make it wrapped with ham a lean bacon might be better. It is easy and something I would make again. I also added garlic to the recipe. I think using a brand name soup, which I did, makes a difference in the flavor of sauce. I made ahead and had in the refrig overnight to bake the next day, so that was a plus.

Amish Macaroni Salad

My daughter and I both liked this salad. I did change the relish to sweet since I had that and I didn't add all the extra's. I may try this in the future with splenda for my diabetic relatives. A Definate repeat us

Slow Cooker London Broil

Yummy !! I made this for supper . I made the sauce , used it on cube steaks and made them in the oven. It is a keeper and one to pass on. My six year old liked it.
