Apple Pork Chops

The recipe was good using the recommendations by Sherry regarding using the slowcooker method and doubling spices, replacing water with Apple juice and adding Apple Sauce. The only difference is I only use 1 cup of apple sauce. Yummy! I'll make it again. I'm serving it with Stuffing and Sugar Snap peas.

Stuffed Green Peppers I

I really enjoyed these peppers. I changed things around. I used a mixture of different colors of bell peppers. I cut them in half instead. I used some suggestions from other users such as use pasta sauce instead of tomato soup, use double Worcestershire sauce, add dried basil and oregano. I added 2 cloves of minced fresh garlic and sauted it with the onion until translucent then added the ground meat and cooked until brown. Also, the first time I made this I used a mixture of ground beef, ground pork, and ground veal ( it was on hand in the fridge) and it tasted phenomenal. I cooked the rice 20 to 25 minutes as 15 min the rice was still crunchy. I used 1 1/2 to 2 cups of cheese. 1 cup was added as per the directions and the other 1/2 to 1 cup sprinkled on top after peppers were stuffed.

Tantalizingly Tangy Meatloaf

This recipe is delish. Sometimes I can't find the pineapple preserves so I just substitue with either pineapple-apricot preserves or just apricot preserves and it still turns out great. Both my sons love this recipe and have since I began and they are picky eaters.

Hungarian Goulash II

I actually made this in the past and loved the recipe and lost it. I'm so glad I found this again. Everyone I've ever made this for has really enjoyed it. Nothing better than this over rice on a cold winter's day!

Gourmet Mushroom Risotto

I lived in Italy for 3 years and I have to say that this recipe was delicious. I would definitely make it again and would not be hesitant to prepare it for my Italian friends.
