About this Cook
I'm a guy who loves to cook, and am not afraid to try anything. I love challenging recipes, the more challenging the better! What's the worst that can happen?
My favorite things to cook
Beef Wellington, Pastries, Cakes and Breads.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Good old-fashioned southern home-style cooking.
My cooking triumphs
When one of my friends who was a chef at a Club Med and at a casino hotel in Las Vegas came to visit and raved so much about a dish I had prepared, he wanted to add it to his menu!
My cooking tragedies
My first cake, at about age 8, I attempted to add 13-1/4 cups of water instead of 1-3/4 cups. My mom caught the mistake before I had mixed the ingredients, and she scooped out just the right amount of water that the cake turned out fine after all! Thanks to that, I wasn't afraid to try again!

The Best Ever Classic Jewish Noodle Kugel
This Kugel recipe is great! I substituted grated Bosc pears and currants for the applesauce.

Habanero Cookies
I made them exactly to the recipe. They turned out great! My family loved the taste. Just the right combination of hot and sweet. Don't breathe in the vapors from the habanero seeds and pulp, though, it's like tear gas!

Eggnog Quick Bread
Very good! Great to serve alongside pumpkin bread for a holiday treat.
