Raspberry Lemon Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2006
So delicious!!! I lopped off one star because it needs way, way more lemon zest to equal the strong flavor of the berries. We used a combo of frozen rasberries and blueberries and extra lemon zest and juice. They are a wonderful quick breakfast because they aren't too sweet!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: May 26, 2006
These were absolutely amazingly perfect. SO rich and buttery. Some tips I used to make them perfect: refridgerated the cookie dough until the butter cooled, made sure each cookie sheet was cooled between batches, decreased the sugar slightly, and added a 1/2 tsp of baking powder. Certainly the most photogenic cookies Ive EVER made! :)

Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2006
ohh mmyy gosh...I eyeballed my way through the recipe..cut it in half b/c I only had four apples...used less butter...and it came out DELICIOUS! It came out a little soupy even without the water, its sweet apple sauce is even better to put over ice cream!

Easy Sugar Cookies

So easy, so perfect. I do flatten them out because they dont spread very well. When I try to "eat healthy" I don't make these because it is physically impossible to eat just one or two. Sooo addicting.

Grilled Shrimp Scampi

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2005
I used a variation of the recipe..half the oil, double the garlic and lemon juice, added red pepper...and it turned out FANTASTIC!!! I only gave it one less star because I didnt think it needed that much oil at all. Can't WAIT to make it again!

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2005
This was very good! I only did 4 stars because you have to add to the recipe. It was so dense and moist I didn't know if it was cooked completely through. I subsituted half of the oil with applesauce and added vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Expect a very, very dense and moist loaf (or muffins, like I made)!
