Cabbage Fat-Burning Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2002
I love this soup! I used spicy vegetable juice instead of the plain tomato juice. Might be too spicy for some, but we loved it that way. Thanks for a great healthy recipe.

Chicken Breasts Pierre

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2002
My husband and daughter enjoyed this dish. I used balsamic vinegar instead of white. Next time I'll also try red wine instead of water and add mushrooms and onions as suggested by other reviewers. I think that would make it even better. Thanks for the recipe.

German Potato Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2002
Thanks for a very tasty and easy recipe. It went great with our Rueben Sandwiches. The potatoes I used were large, so I doubled the dressing, and it was perfect.

Thanks for a quick, easy and delicious recipe. I used thinly sliced smoked turkey breast instead of pastrami, and low fat thousand island to make it a little lighter, and it was fantastic!

My family really enjoyed this dish. I cooked the mashed potato crust for about 10 minutes longer than suggested, until it was golden brown. Thanks for a recipe I'll use over and over.

I used chicken strips and lessened the baking time. Also broiled at the end for more browning. Very tasty.

Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2001
This is an excellent winter soup. Instead of all sausage, I used 1/2 cooked chicken breast strips and 1/2 lean sausage. I omitted carrots and added onions and mushrooms. My husband and I loved it. Thanks for a recipe we'll use often.

Butterscotch Oatmeal Cookies I

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2001
I love these cookies and so does my family! Instead of 1 c, I used 2/3 C of chocolate chips and 2/3 c of butterschotch chips and there were still more than enough. I think next time I'll reduce the measurement of each to 1/2 c. Thanks for a great cookie recipe.

Cabbage Roll Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2001
Very tasty recipe. I used a mixture of Italian style stewed tomatoes and canned tomato soup instead of tomato sauce. I used Mrs. Dash for the seasoning. We loved it. I think I'll try it with chunks of chicken instead of ground beef next time.

Orange Curried Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2001
I took some liberties with this recipe, and still it turned out to be very tasty. I substituted apricot preserves for the marmalade and curry powder for the paste. It was very good! My family enjoyed it with steamed rice. Thanks.

Greek Pasta with Tomatoes and White Beans

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2001
Great recipe! I omitted the feta chesse and served the dish with parmesan chesse and red pepper flakes on the side. This should reduce the fat and cholestrol a bit. I thought it was delicious. Thanks

Nice side dish. I combined balsamic and red wine vinegar to equal 1/4 cup combined. This was plenty. I also added a splash of olive oil. Thank you for a healthy, tasty recipe.
