Fruit Cocktail Cake

Very tasty! Perfect served warm on a chilly evening. Easy to prepare with few ingredients and with every measurement being either 1 cup, 1 tsp. or 1 can, it will be easy to memorize and whip up any time. Mine was done in about 30 minutes, so you may want to check it at the end of the baking time.

Chicken In Basil Cream

Wonderful recipe! To save preparation time, I used a packaged "shake and bake" style coating mixture and baked the chicken, then served it with the cream sauce. I added a few mushrooms to the sauce and served pasta on the side. My husband and daughter loved the flavor. Next time I might add artichoke pieces as well. Thanks.

Chicken Stock

Simply delicious and wonderfully aromatic. The smell alone was worth preparing this stock. It made a wonderful base for chicken noodle soup.

Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup

This is comfort food at its best. Home-made broth, some mushroom slices, and seasoning to taste made it absolutely perfect. My father-in-law walked into the house and asked what smelled so good. I'll make this again. I think I'll try dumplings like other reviewers.

Curried Honey Mustard Chicken

What an awesome recipe! My husband loved it and so did I. We served it with couscous and steamed asparagus. I marinated it overnight, cooked it ahead and stored it in the refrigerator. To heat it up, I heated the chicken breasts and juice in a skillet, which gave it a beautiful brown glazed look and a yummy flavor. This is a keeper.

Summer Garden Pork Chops

We had this for dinner tonight, and it was fabulous. I browned the chops, sauteed the veggies and then put it all in the crock pot on high for 4 hours and it turned our really nicely. I added worcestershire sauce and more salt and pepper to spice it up a bit. Served it with pasta. Thanks for a recipe I'll use over and over.

Brussels Sprouts Bake

Wonderful recipe! My husband said he had never had such tasty brussels sprouts before! Because of what I had on hand, I used part shredded mozzarella and part parmesan in place of the cheddar. And I also used crushed corn flakes in place of bread crumbs. Thanks for a recipe that I'll be using often.

Mom's Zucchini Bread

This is a delicious zucchini bread recipe. Thanks. I substituted 1/2 of the oil w/ plain yogurt and used 1 real egg and 1/2 C egg substitute to make it a bit lower fat, and it was incredible. My mother-in-law and my chef friend both loved it. That says a lot.

Olive Chicken II

Our family and dinner guests enjoyed this dish last night with steamed rice. I had to prepare the dish early, so I browned the chicken, then put everything together and let it cook in a crock pot on high for 4 hours. During the last hour, I added fresh thyme, and it was wonderful! Thank you.
