Roquefort Pear Salad

Reviewed: May 28, 2005
This was a beautiful and delicious salad. I used a prepared Honey Dijon dressing in place of the recipe, and it turned out very well. I'll definitely be making this again. Thanks.

Nuevo Cubano Chicken with Lindsay® Spanish Olive Picadillo Salsa

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2005
I really enjoyed these flavors. I didn't have capers, but I didn't miss them. And I made my own jerk seasoning from a recipe on this site. I probably used more than was called for in the recipe, so it was nice and spicy. I served it over steamed white rice. Very flavorful.

Better Than Sex Cake I

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2004
I've made this several times, and it's always a big hit. You can get creative with the topping depending on what you have on hand. Instead of candy bar bits, I've used a mixture of chopped nuts, butterschotch and chocolate chips. Very good!

Chocolate Layered Pie

Excellent. I doubled the recipe and prepared it in an oblong cake pan. I used French Vanilla and Cheesecake pudding together. Topped with peanut butter chips, mini chocolate kisses and toffee bits for my husband's birthday dessert. Everyone loved it.

Andouille and Chicken Creole Pasta

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2004
This was good. We served it over rice with french bread and a spinach salad. The spiciness was not a problem at all for our family.

Last Minute Chicken Dinner

Reviewed: Feb. 11, 2004
This was a really tasty dish that my whole family loved. I cooked the chicken breasts in the microwave, then cut it up. I also precooked the vegetables a bit. I used seasoned salt. I also used fat free milk to make it low fat. We served it over rice. Thanks!

This recipe was wonderful! An excellent bread to serve with soups and stews. I used chives in place of parsley in the melted butter mixture and it worked great. Thanks!

Nacho Chip Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2003
The only problem was we couldn't stop eating it! I didn't have nacho chips, so I used garlic and cumin and a bit of chili powder to season the meat mixture. I also used Velveeta instead of sliced cheese. It was wonderful. Thanks.

Vikki's Red Bean Sausage

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2003
Even without the onion and green pepper (which I didn't have) this was a very tasty recipe. I added some seasoning to suit our taste and served it over white rice. We loved it, and I know I will serve it again. Thanks.

Sweet and Sour Zucchini Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2003
Wonderful flavor. I didn't use the peppers. Instead added more squash. Not just zucchini, but a mixture of yellow squash and zucchini. My family loved this dish. Thanks for a fresh and interesting way to use the squash from our garden.

Amazingly tasty recipe. I used fresh parmesan instead of the jar variety. My husband said it was the best fish recipe I've prepared. Served it with Calypso Rice and steamed broccoli for a great meal.

Rave reviews from my husband and daughter on the flavor of this dish, and a request to make it often. I cooked this in my slow cooker, which turned out great. And I used my own taco seasoning with cumin and garlic powder.
