Beef Stew with Ale

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2013
This stew was delicious! I didn't have any vinegar so I left that out and it was great. I also added parsnips. My husband loved it.

Thai Red Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2008
This was not as good as I expected. I agree with the other recommendations. I would add more red curry paste. I added lime juice and fish sauce. I should have left the lime juice out and just put lime wedges on the table for people to flavor as they would have liked. It was a little too limey for me. I did add extra cilantro and that added good flavor. Ok recipe.

Caramelized Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2007
This was delicious! I cut down the recipe and only used 2 chicken breasts. I simmered the glaze on the stove top for 15 minutes and then poured it over the chicken in a 8x8 glass baking dish. I cooked it at 400 for 25 mins. turning the chicken over every 5 to 10 minutes or so. It was really tasty and it was the perfect consistency. YUM!

Veggie Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 13, 2006
I thought this took way to long to make and it didn't have much taste. Also...the croutons in the mixture get all soggy. gross!

Peanut Cilantro Dip

This is so yummy! I doubled the recipe and served it with the Grilled Salmon II. It went really well with the fish and people also dipped vegetables and bread into it. YUM!

Mid-Summer Italian Bread Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2006
This was wonderful! I didn't add as much basil as it called for and it was still very tasty. I brushed the bread with olive oil and garlic and toasted it for about ten minutes. I also waited to add the bread until right before I served it so the bread wouldn't get mushy. It tastes like brushetta (sp?) in a bowl!

Grilled Salmon II

Reviewed: May 19, 2006
This was delicious! I bought the huge salmon you can get at Costco and marinaded it over night. I wrapped it in foil and threw it on the grill! I hate fish and usually don't eat it but this was amazing! I would highly recommend it for fish lovers and haters alike!

Italian Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2006
My husband gave it a perfect 10 (we've been married 9 months and this is the first 10 I've gotten) ;) I added onion. Used chicken broth instead of beef, and I didn't have any zuchini so I added corn. It was really yummy and really easy.

Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2005
This was really yummy and SO EASY! I used no name ice cream sandwich bars. I crushed the nuts instead of leaving them whole. I also added the chocolate first, then the nuts, then the whipped cream. It looked great! I impressed my guests!

Hobo Dinner

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2005
My husband really liked this recipe. I added 1 pckg dry onion soup mix to the meat to add some flavor. I only used 3 big potatoes and that was plenty. I didn't have any big carrots so I just threw in a couple handfuls of the baby carrots and those worked great.

Salsa Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 9, 2005
I'm not a big fan of pasta salads, but this one was great! It had a very unique taste to it. It's not your normal pasta salad. It was rather spicy. I added 2 jalapenos after reading the reviews and they gave it a kick! Be careful when cutting them though.. I had a cut on my finger and it was burning for the rest of the night. :)

YUMMMMMM..... This was so tasty! My husband is very picky and he went back for seconds. It was very easy and made the house smell awesome. I used a red onion (cause that's all I had) and it tasted great. This recipe has a really unique flavor.. i'd recommend it!
