Moroccan Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2007
The flavor of this was good, but the chicken was really really dry. My husband said it was because there was no acid in the marinade so maybe next time we'll try it with some lemon juice or vinegar.

Irish Lamb Stew

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2007
This turned out really oily. I'm not sure if it was because of the lamb or what. My husband really liked it though.

Amazingly Easy Irish Soda Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2007
This was really good bread, but it was a bit moister and sweeter than the soda bread I've eaten before. It was really good, just not what I was expecting.

Southwestern Turkey Soup

We also added a can of corn and about 3/4 c. of black beans and cooked it in the crock pot. Turned out great!

Chicken Jalfrezi

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2007
This was awful! I'm not sure why it turned out so poorly when this recipe got such high ratings. It's the first thing I've ever made that my husband and I couldn't eat, we both threw ours out. I read the recipe two more times thinking maybe I left out an ingredient or forgot a step, but I followed it exactly. Maybe it just wasn't for our tastes.

Sesame Green Beans

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
This was pretty good, but it took a lot longer to cook than I thought it would. I also added a ton more toasted sesame seeds because we love them. Pretty good recipe!

Sesame Seared Tuna

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2006
I didn't like this as much as my husband did. I think next time we'll have to sear it a little longer for me. I like the middle pink, but not the whole thing!

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2006
This was great! We served it on top of Quinoa and Black Beans from this site. Like other reviewers I combined the taco seasoning with broth and marinated the chicken in it. Every one loved it!

This was great! I'm trying to learn to like quinoa (I don't like the look of it) This was a great recipe for it

Apple Curry Turkey Pita

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2006
This wasn't too bad, but I probably wouldn't make it again unless I had tons of leftover turkey. Maybe after I play around with it, it'll be better.

Sweet Coated Pecans

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2006
These were really good! They weren't the prettiest things in the world, but the taste made up for it. I switched 1/2 t. of the water for vanilla, it made the taste a little fuller.

Famous Coconut-Almond Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2006
These were great for our Holiday gift tins! After reading the other reviews, I put the coconut balls in the freezer for five minutes before re-rolling. I found that it was actually a little easier to squish the coconut into balls then roll them. I also let them dry completely then put an extra coat of chocolate on them, to make them a little prettier. They were great!

Maple Roast Turkey and Gravy

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2006
This turkey recipe was awesome. I used all the marinade for the turkey and forgot to reserve some, so I just made the gravy from a flour, butter, and the pan drippings and it was perfect. Not too sweet.

Cheesecake Topped Brownies

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
I don't know what happened! The cheesecake layer completely came off the brownies! I made them for a bake sale, but there was no way I could send them. Maybe I did something wrong with them?

Harira

We loved this soup. The only thing I would change is the vermicelli pasta, either changing the type or omitting it all together. The soup doesn't really need it.

Indonesian Satay

My husband and I both really enjoyed this. We had to cook the peanut sauce for awhile to get it to the consistancy we wanted, but in the end it really added to the dish.
