Like others, I substituted worcestershire sauce for soy sauce. Also, I only had one beef bouillon cube, so I used it plus a can of beef broth. I followed another recommendation by keeping the rice separate from the soup and serving the soup on top of the rice. I also added a small onion with the pepper. This was spectacular and I will be making this again and again and again!!!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

The recipe is delicious. It's not my favorite ever, but I will likely make it again. It was moist and the spices are perfectly balanced.

Sloppy Joes II

I followed the recipe exactly. I can't believe how easy this was to make, yet it tasted as good as some of the much more complicated sloppy joe recipes I have tried. Easy and delicious, what more could I ask for?

Buttery Cooked Carrots

I used whole organic carrots and sliced on a diagonal (like in the picture). Steamed them for 7 minutes until soft, then added butter and the brown sugar. They were outstanding and I received many compliments.

Barbie's Tuna Salad

This is so delicious. I had it on whole wheat bread with some shredded mozzerella cheese. It would be delicious also on crackers. (I didn't have any dill so omitted that)

Smothered Filet Mignon

This was absolutely delicious. I didn't feel comfortable putting the steak with onion & cheese back on the grill (seemed a bit messy), so I just microwaved the bleu cheese to melt it, then poured it on top of the filet and onion. YuMmMMmMMMmyyyYYYy.

Lobster Tails Steamed in Beer

I had never cooked lobster before, so I wanted a recipe that was really simple. You don't get much simpler than two ingredients! I didn't notice the beer taste, and neither did my husband, but we weren't looking for it either.

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze

I had never made filet mignon before and wanted a recipe that seemed easy. This was so easy and tasted delicious. It took me much longer than 4 minutes on each side, but I used a meat thermometer to get the meat just right.
