Cream Corn Like No Other

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2006
Great taste and all the kids had seconds! Used a little cornstarch to thicken it and I doubled the recipe to make sure I had enough. Thanks for recipe!

Yellow Squash Dressing

Family loved this and so did I!! Used corn muffins crumbled, used butter instead of margarine and left onions out for kids-used a little onion powder. I will be making again and thanks for recipe.

Spiced Mixed Nuts

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2008
These are really good and easy. I cooked in microwave for 4 1/2 minutes and stirred after every minute. Left some of the nuts in clumps to dry. Tasted better the next morning when they were crunchy.

Coconut Brittle

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2005
Tasted great! First I used a micowave safe plastic dish which the bottom melted right off, that was a bit of a mess in my microwave. Then I used a glass dish and everything was great!

Venice High School Cherry Butter Cookies

Very good! First batch I undercooked, I took out when they started to brown but the insides weren't done. Next batch I left in recommended time and came out great! Thanks for recipe!

Summer Zucchini Stew

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2005
Great way to use up your zucchini! I doubled the recipe, threw in a couple extra sausages, cup back a little on the water and used crushed peppers in mine for a little kick. The potatoes took a little longer to cook then stated, but smelled, looked and tasted great. I had to thank my husband for finding this one!1

Outstanding pie!! I cut back on the nutmeg and added cinnamon for my preference. The crust was outstanding!! I thought I had the perfect crust recipe but this one is better!

Great comfort food! My family loved it-even the picky little ones. Thinking about adding green peas next time for flavor and color.

Chai Tea Mix

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2008
I love this recipe. I have made 3 batches now. The 4th batch I made I replaced the 1 cup each of unflavored non-dairy creamer and french vanilla non-dairy creamer with 2 cups IRISH CREME non-dairy creamer and only used 1 1/2 cups sugar. Now I REALLY like this recipe also. Not to mention my co-workers like the irish creme recipe a little better than the original one. Now the thing is I want to replace the IRISH CREME non-dairy creamer with the GINGERBREAD non-dairy creamer, but it's seasonal and I can't find any. So if someone would try it and the review it, I would greatly appreciate it. For all of my batches I used the tsp. each allspice and nutmeg but NOT the white pepper.

My family loved these. Very rich with the frosting on top. The only problem was they don't come out of the pan very well even after greasing the pan.

Black Beans con Jalapeno

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2006
I really loved this and my kids did too! My husband likes the cowboy caviar I usually make. I used a can of corn for hominy(what is this?) because I couldn't find hominy. I put an extra jalapeno in per my taste. This really had alot of flavor, but was a bit too salty so I will cut back on that next time. Thanks for recipe!

Best Unsteamed Shrimp

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2006
Everyone enjoyed this-I used a little less Old Bay because of the kids and I used the stovetop. I couldn't bring myself to put shrimp in the microwave and I could watch it closer on the stove. Thanks for recipe-I will be making again.
