About this Cook
I love to cook and try new things. My greatest joy is cooking for others and having them enjoy my food. I love to share recipes with others when I find something really good.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook desserts, casseroles, soups and appetizer type items my family can pick at.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother wasn't big on cooking. I started when I was young and still enjoy to cook no matter how hot it is out.
My cooking triumphs
I usually have good success with whatever I try.
My cooking tragedies
Getting bread to rise and I made some breakfast casserole once that had raw egg in the middle no matter how long I cooked it for.

Basic Cheesecake
Good recipe-I didn't care for the spices in the crust-found them distracting when at first I thought what a great idea. I'll stick with a plain crust from now on.

Chi Chi's Corn Cake
Great recipe-couldn't find hasa marina in any store near me so I just used extra corn meal. Tasted very much like Chi Chi's. Thanks for recipe!

Yellow Squash Dressing
Family loved this and so did I!! Used corn muffins crumbled, used butter instead of margarine and left onions out for kids-used a little onion powder. I will be making again and thanks for recipe.
