LOVED THIS!! I only had one tin of chick peas so I halved the recipe and it came out fabulous....my three boys loved this too with some pita bread. The only thing I did differently was rinsed the peas and took the time to remove the soft skins that just peel right off the peas. I find doing this results in a smoother hummus. All in all this was great and will surely make it again. Thanks Jean :)

You can forget about boxed cakes with this recipe ~ this cake was sooooo good & so easy too! Next time I will only make it in 2 - 9" pans for a thicker cake. The layers are very thin when spread out across 3 pans & that is fine if you want a layered cake - which was not what I wanted but it worked out fine in the end.

I had to make these like drop cookies and I coulndn't roll them like the recipe called for. I also added some flour because it was just like cake batter, even without the water added.Next time i will add less oil & applesauce. All in all they turned out just fine. I am going to drizzle mine with some melted chocolate. They make a good, soft cookie. Will make them again using different cake mixes and/or different add-ins. They are a good cheap cookie to make for bazaars too.

Goodbye jared sauces!! Easy because you don't need of ingrediants and quick because you don't have to simmer this sauce for hours before hand, although you could if you wanted to.
