Cream of Spinach Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
I used fresh spinach and real onion. Also added a sprinkle of garlic powder, red pepper flakes, and red pepper along with the salt and pepper. So simple, easy, and delicious!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
The oven temp was a bit too high…my cheesecake had a 2" browned ring around the outside edges. I should have lowered the temp for the 1 hour it baked. Followed the directions exactly, making sure not to over beat, the texture was creamy and good. I will try it again I'm sure, maybe adding a bit of lemon as well. Thanks for the sweet Valentine treat recipe :)

Jackie's Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2011
Wow, this soup was way better than I had expected. Its so simple, but delicious! I used chicken sausage, left out the green pepper (don't care for them) and also skipped the pasta to make it a friendly low carb meal. I spiced it up a bit with some red pepper flakes. Really great, thanks for an easy awesome meal

Oatmeal Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
Adjust the temperature of your oven if needed. My first batch didn't bake up very well and burned on the bottom. I lowered the temp by 20 degrees and the rest baked up perfect. Love oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and these are some of the best! Thanks!

Spaghetti Squash I

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2010
Left out the olives because I didn't have any. Added zucchini and fresh spinach with the tomatoes. So good!! My husband said he liked it more than actual pasta. I liked that the squash had a bit of crunch to it. And the feta makes the dish complete! Super healthy and super yummy….we will be making this again and again. Thanks!!

Frosted Banana Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2010
Wow, this was awesome. Very moist, but light and fluffy too. I liked the idea of baking it in the 10x15 jellyroll pan. I didn't have cream cheese frosting, so I topped it with some whipped buttercream. I can only imagine what it would be like with the cream cheese frosting. I will be making this again for sure. Thanks!

Monterey Chicken with Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2010
This was super easy and turned out way tastier than I had expected. The chicken did need to bake for about 20 extra minutes and I think next time I will try the suggestions of marinating the chicken in lime juice. The potatoes were super yum. Thanks!

This was the first time I had used boneless pork ribs for pulled pork sandwiches. Turned out awesome, the meat melted in our mouths. I cooked mine on low for 8 hours, then the oven for 45 mins after adding the sauce. Loved it, thanks so much :)

Made these for a bake sale, the kids loved them. I followed the recipe exactly, and baked each batch for 17 minutes. Came out great, with gooey cookie dough in the middle. Will experiment again with different cake flavors and cookie doughs. Thanks for the idea :)
