Breaded Chicken Fingers

Reviewed: Apr. 26, 2006
My husband's favorite food is chicken nuggets/fingers so I made these as a treat for him last night. He loved them, which means I'll be making them often. They're super easy and they come out so juicy and tender. Thanks for the recipe.

Cream Filled Cupcakes

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2006
I went the easy route and used a Devil's food cake mix for the cupcakes. After filling the cakes I spread a very thin layer of Chocolate frosting on top and then topped them off with some sliced strawberries. The strawberries were just tart enough to offset the sweet cream in the middle. They looked pretty and everybody raved at how delicious they were. Thanks for the recipe, I'll be making again for sure.

Honey Glazed Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2006
I had a bone-in ham to make for Easter dinner and used this recipe exactly as it was written. It turned out great, and I got lots of compliments. Next time around I may make a few changes and opt for the brown sugar instead of the karo syrup. Thanks for the delicious ham recipe!

Cool Whipped Frosting

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2006
My mom and I found this recipe years ago and use it almost anytime we make a cake anymore. It's easy and so yummy. It's a great frosting during the summer when you're looking for something light to top off your cake. Great Recipe!

Teriyaki Marinade III

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2006
Delicious! We love this marinade. I doubled the recipe and used half orange juice / half lime juice. It was tangy and tasty. After marinating the chicken all day, I let the marinade simmer on the stove so that we could use it over our rice. Thanks so much for the recipe.

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2006
This chicken is super easy and quick. And it tasted delicious too. We ate it just as is one night, and the next night we chopped it up and wrapped in tortillas with some black beans and avocado. Great chicken! Thanks for the recipe.

Peach Cobbler VI

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2006
This cobbler turned out nice and had a great flavor. I made it in the 9x13 inch pan that it called for in the recipe, but next time I will put it in an 8x8 pan. Was really good with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Thanks for the recipe.

Sarah's Salsa

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2006
Awesome salsa! has the same texture and flavor as the salsa that they serve at Mexican Restaurants. I added an extra jalapeno, only put in one can of the diced tomatos with the green chiis, and added a little salt. Will be making this again for sure. Thanks for the recipe.

Chicken Enchiladas I

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2006
Didn't have any chicken so I made cheese enchiladas instead. I cooked the onions, garlic, and green pepper in a little olive oil and then mixed in the sour cream, shredded cheese and only a small amount of the tomato sauce. I had to make the whole dish like a casserole because the mixture was little too runny, with no chicken, to roll up into tortillas. I layered the tortillas and cheese mixure and topped it all off with the taco sauce and more cheese. It was so yummy, but I can't wait to try it again with some chicken. Thanks for the recipe.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2006
I tripled this recipe and used it to feed lots of hungry truck drivers with BIG appetites. They loved it. After letting it cook for 8 hours, I shredded the chicken, emptied everything from the crockpot, gave the crockpot a good scrubdown (the brown sugar burnt to the sides of the pot) and then put all the chicken back in with some added fresh bbq sauce. I served it on buns and got lots of compliments. Thanks for the great recipe!

Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms II

Reviewed: Mar. 21, 2006
These are delicious. Simple to make and everybody loves them. After removing the stems from the mushrooms, I cut up just a few of the stems into small pieces to add to the sausage/cream cheese mixture. Adds a little more texture to the filling. Thanks for the recipe.

Japanese Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2006
Wow, We loved these. After frying the wings, I baked them for the full 45 minutes in the 350 degree oven, and basted them about every 5 minutes. They were outstanding. My husband claimed he wasn't hungry when I told him I was making wings, but once they came out of the oven he said he was starving and gobbled them down. Thanks for the great recipe!

Chocolate Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2006
This bread turned out yummy. I had to bake it a bit longer than the 60 minutes stated in the recipe. Don't be deceieved by the dark color that the bread turns in the oven, it does have cocoa powder in the batter. My husband couldn't wait to slice it when it came out of the oven, he had two thick pieces slathered with butter. I'm sure I'll be making it again. Thanks for the recipe.

Bacon Wrapped Hamburgers

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2006
My husband didn't like the idea of wrapping the bacon around the burgers so I cooked it separate and we just added it along with our other fixings. The flavor of the burgers was awesome! Thanks for the great recipe!

Sweet and Gooey Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2006
I had wings similar to these at the Super Bowl party that we went to, I loved them so much that I searched for a similar recipe and these tasted just like them. I made them yesterday to take to a dinner party as an appetizer, but I didn't want to share. I will be making these again for sure, this time for just my husband and I to enjoy! Thanks for the great recipe.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2006
Awesome roast! I couldn't believe that it actually did make it's own gravy. I didn't have two cans of mushroom soup so I added one can of cream of celery. I also misread the recipe and ended up adding two packages of the onion soup mix. Still turned out delicious though. Next time I'll be sure to add some potatoes, onions, and carrots for a full meal. Thanks for the recipe!

I didn't add the onion, and they still turned out super tasty. I left them in the oven for about 2 hours. Thanks for the recipe.

St. Louis Toasted Ravioli

Reviewed: Feb. 2, 2006
I've been dying to try this for a long time. I finally made them last night and they were pretty good. I think my oil may have been too hot, they cooked up really quick but they just tasted a little bit undercooked. I may try double dipping them next time for an extra coating. Thanks for the recipe.

Blueberry Cream Cheese Pound Cake I

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2006
I'm a major oinker when it comes to cake so for me to say that I loved it and ate half the cake is not that big of a deal. However, my husband doesn't usually care for cake, and even he ate two huge slices. We both loved it. After the 45 minutes of baking time, I ended up turning the oven way down and letting it bake for almost another half hour, the outside of the cake was a little bit crispy and the inside was super moist. Will be making this again for sure. Thanks for the recipe!
