This was awesome! I did add a little cinnamon to the caramel sauce and kept the oven at 200 degrees. My family LOVED it.

Excellent! I also make 6 large instead of 9. I also let rise for 20 - 30 minutes instead of 10. Thanks for the recipe!

Pumpkin Roll II

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2006
Very good. I did add some nutmeg and a touch of ginger to the batter. My end pieces did not have much filling and had to cut them off. Next time, I would cover the ENTIRE cake with filling before rolling it back up.

Crunchy Ice Cream Dessert

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
This is the same as my recipe except I use rice krispies instead of rice chex. I also add some chocolate syrup on the icecream before adding the top crust. Very Good!

Banket

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2006
I got alittle nervous with the dough, it was very wet and even after chilling I had to roll it out on quite a bit of flour. Also, instructions were not very clear on how to roll out the strips. Make sure you roll them wide enough to cover all the filling. But, they tasted great, just like my Grandma's. They also freeze well.

Butterscotch Cake I

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2006
Very good. Didn't have any almonds so I added some chocolate chip along with the butterscotch and mixed cinnamon in with the sugar. Served with Cool Whip on top.

Cola Pot Roast I

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2006
Excellent! Cooked in the crockpot for about 9 hours. Tender with a wonderful taste. I did add some red wine and a bay leaf and used a whole can of Coke instead of just one cup.

Pumpkin Pie Bars

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2006
Excellent bars! I used evaporated milk instead of regular. I did have to cook for about an hour until my knife came out clean. Must serve cold in my opinion.

Best Ever Layered Mexican Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2006
I changed a few things and it turned out really, really well. First I didn't have any bean dip, so I added 1/2 of the seasoning to refried beans. The other 1/2 I added to the sourcream. I also added a layer of salsa which I think is a must!

Broiled Short Ribs

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2006
I used just the cooking method with this recipe but used my own bbq sauce. I added some beef bouillon cubes and 2 tablespoons of vinegar to the water. After simmering for 2 hours, I drained and removed as much fat from the beef as I could. I then smothered the meat with my bbq sauce and broiled it. Also added hot sauce just before serving. They turned out very tender and my family LOVED them.
