The first time I made this I had a really hard time with the dough. The second time I wrapped the very wet dough in wax paper and refridgerated it for about an hour and it rolled out much better. Also, make sure you use a crisp apple otherwise it tends to be a little mushy. I also used an almond glaze on top.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

This soup was alright, the sourcream and cheese are a must. I thought the beer flavor was overpowering too. I think next time I would use chicken broth and maybe some chili seasoning instead of taco. Very easy to put together.

Crusty Cornbread

Not cornbread in my opinion. Good if you like white bread with a crunchy crust. The next day I used the leftover bread to make french toast and it turned out very good.

Caramel Popcorn

This was awesome! I did add a little cinnamon to the caramel sauce and kept the oven at 200 degrees. My family LOVED it.

Broiled Short Ribs

I used just the cooking method with this recipe but used my own bbq sauce. I added some beef bouillon cubes and 2 tablespoons of vinegar to the water. After simmering for 2 hours, I drained and removed as much fat from the beef as I could. I then smothered the meat with my bbq sauce and broiled it. Also added hot sauce just before serving. They turned out very tender and my family LOVED them.

Best Ever Layered Mexican Dip

I changed a few things and it turned out really, really well. First I didn't have any bean dip, so I added 1/2 of the seasoning to refried beans. The other 1/2 I added to the sourcream. I also added a layer of salsa which I think is a must!
