Super Sausage Gravy

I've made this several times and is always a hit. I use Owen Hot sausage. Great with a dryer country biscuit.

Yummy Sweet Potato Casserole

Been making this recipe for a few years now. Had used a Candied Yams recipe until I found this. I use a large 29oz can of sweet potatoes per batch. Everyone loves these. It is sweet, but they are great.

Perfect Turkey

This will be the 7th year I make this turkey. I don't use carrots as no one eats the veggie stuffing. i stuff the turkey as much as possible with spices, onions, and celery. I also pour the white wine over the turkey, not the veggies. I have always used white cooking wine, but this year I'll be trying a Sauvignon Blanc. I use a large stock pot with ice water for brine as I can't fit a turkey in water into my fridge.

Scrambled Eggs Done Right

I've been incorporating mayo into my scrambled eggs ever since i came across this recipe. I Just came across again, and just realized that i do use about a tsp of mayo, but for a batch of 6 eggs and no water. Definitely helps to break down the mayo as much as possible.

Mexican Rice II

Great Rice. My wife usually makes the mexican rice and i finally made one that she likes better than her own. I used 1 cup of fresh chicken stock and 1 cup water as the stock was rich.

Meatloaf with Fried Onions and Ranch Seasoning

This recipe was great. Used a ketchup/mustard/brown sugar mix to top it off 15 minutes before done. The first meatloaf my wife has enjoyed since the first time i useda bag'n season variety.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Cheesecake cracked and cooked faster even though I had the oven in the 300-325 range instead of 350. I think it was pretty good, but too thick. I don't know if it got too thick from the being overcooked but it just feels too overwhelming to eat and needs more flavor. Maybe less cream cheese and/or more sugar.

Beer Biscuits

Came out nice and fluffy but wouldn't brown. Or at least I just took them out after waiting 15 minutes for them to bake. Just like those biscuits you find at the mexican restaurants. Smelt like the beer and left slight after tastes tho. Maybe it was just the german beer i had lying around the house for the onion ring batter. A bit stronger than your average beer.
