Also the garden is slowing down. We cover our tomatoes at night to…
I'm married with 3 children. Two daughters and son and 3 beautiful grandaughters. Mya,Morgan and Julissa. I spent 14 years in the Army and was stationed all over the United States and in Germany. I have learned many differernt cooking styles.I'm a nurse and we live on a farm. We farm 1000 acres and raise beef. We have a big garden. I do alot of canning and freezing.(friuts, veges, sauces and pickles). We are active in 4-H I am the adult leader for our club.My son is a senior in high school He is busy in band, class plays and youth group through Church. So we keep very busy. I love to throw theme parties and always make way to much food:)
My favorite things to cook
I love making Lazagna, anything out on the grill. Egg rolls, cookies and candies.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love every year making lefsa. That is the beginning of the holiday baking for me. Making cookies and candies at christmas has been a tradition every sice I can remember. Kringla, peanut brittle, carmels, devinity, cut out sugar cookies rum balls, and so many more. Then we make plates and give them to family and freinds.
My cooking triumphs
I think my biggest was learning to use a wok with out burning dinner! I had a great teacher!
