My Best Clam Chowder

This is a fantastic recipe. I always read the reviews, and always use other suggestions to make it taste just right. I used cornstarch instead of flour, and used all 1/2 & 1/2. The bacon is a must, and I left out the carrots. I used 5 cans of chopped clams, and 3 cups of potatoes. The red wine vinegar is perfect, and I also added Old Bay spice for a chowder that everyone raved about!! Great job...Thank you.

Fabulous Beef Tenderloin

This is a delicious base recipe. Of course following the other reviews, I doctored mine up just a tiny bit. I covered the roast with Monteray steak seasoning, and let sit out at room temp for 2 hours. After mixing the butter & soy sauce, I added a heaping tablespoon of minced garlic, and a teaspoon of ginger. Cooked for close to an hour, and every 15 minutes i would flip the roast over, and spoon the liquid over the top. Took it out at 130F...and let sit for 20 mins. This roast was to die for.....what a perfect way to ring in the New Year!! Make sure to spoon extra drippings over each serving....awesome!!

Baked Pesto Chicken

I saw this in "Recipe of the Day" and it looked good, so I tried it last night. Followed the recipe, and thought it was very good. I pounded the chicken breasts out a little before adding the pesto. After baking for 20 minutes, I drained the oil from the pesto that the chicken was swimming in. I added the sliced tomatoes, and added Mozz, Cheddar, and Parm....came out nice. Thanks for the easy recipe!!
