Country Apple Dumplings

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2012
I made these the other night for dessert and they were sooooo delicious that I ate some for breakfast the next morning! I couldn't stop eating them. Luckily, I only made 1/2 the recipe or I would have been in trouble. Definitely planning to make this again. Thanks for the great recipe!

Best Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2011
I have made this dish several times and each time it gets better and better. I bake it mostly as the recipe entails, but will usually substitute heavy or light cream for the whole milk. I also don't like raisins, so I'll substitute dried cranberry or chocolate chips. Very delicious and I will continue to make this for years to come.

Sarah's Applesauce

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2011
This applesauce is delicious and sooooo easy to make. I had a ton of apples left over from apple picking, so I thought it would be a good idea to try and use them up. I made a double batch hoping it would not go to waste, and I'm glad I did. I haven't stopped eating it :)

Baked French Swirl Toast

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2011
I've made this recipe a couple of tiimes and the first time I made it, it did not come out that well as many of the reviews have stated. However, I saw the potential in it and tweaked it until it came out great. I reduced the eggs to 5 and only used 2 cups of milk then let it bake for an hour at 350 degrees. Once it came out of the oven, I let it sit uncovered for another 20-25 minutes before I served it to allow the center to become a bit firmer. It came out amazing. Even my picky nephews loved it!!

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2005
This recipe came out so well! It was full of flavor and although I used legs and thighs instead of the chicken breasts, it was delicious!! I will definitely make this again! Yum!
