Creamy Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 3, 2012
SO awesomely good- realized right as I pulled the sour cream from the fridge to add it in, that it had gone bad (note to self, check ingredients before starting a recipe!) and used a little kid 'splitz' yogurt and some leftover fresh ricotta cheese. This was AWESOME GOOD, not too sweet, but SO fab. I think I cooked it about 50 mins total and just eyeballed how many blueberries to put into the bottom of the pie shell. So good my little brother who a s picky pie man was SWOONING!

Good, very easy and quick to get on the table! The chili powder in here just helps to make the ham seem smokey-er! Nice touch

Creme Fraiche Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 5, 2011
This was AWESOME! 4 star rating right now because I want to experiment with the type of wine to use....used sav. blanc tonight and I feel it could really stand a more assertive wine as the base. that being said, I did add more wine to the recipe- probably doubled it- and a little dried thyme- along with s&p with chx, onions and after adding creme fraiche- which I made from scratch based on another review for this recipe. My husband RAVED about how good it was and he was SO right! Thanks for this one!!

Southern Baked Yellow Squash

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2010
This was great- I used a white onion I had already chopped that was in the fridge- very mild and I think that was awesome. I also didn't use additional butter on the topping- baked at 375 for 1/2 hour and then I turned off the oven and left it in there while I got the rest of the dinner ready. Easy, very delicious and a nice way to use the always abundant summer squash!

Very fab- very easy. Tried to make mine in blender like others suggested -but their blenders must be bigger than mine! I added 4 tbsp sugar, and shook in some cinnamon and nutmeg too. They were awesome and easy!!

Honey Limeade

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2010
Very delicious- but not quite limey enough for me. I, too, made a simple syrup and added the honey into that. This is delicious and so fresh! For me next time, I'll make it a little more tart.

World's Best Scones! From Scotland to the Savoy to the U.S.

Reviewed: May 15, 2010
4.5 stars as written- next time I make them (did the cranberry version! used craisins) I'll let the baking powder activate a little more- but letting them sit on the cookie sheet for about 10-15mins. before I bake them- VERY good recipe!
