Amish Meatloaf

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2005
This was good, but I agree, the sauce is very sweet. It is a nice change of pace from a savory meatloaf. I may make it again.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2006
This cake was moist and flavorful. I would make it again. I followed the recipe exactly. The chocolate flavor was great. I used a 9 x 13 glass pan and it worked great. I highly recommend this recipe.

Chocolate Cookie Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2006
This was easy and delicious. It frosted a 9 x 13 cake with very little left over. Perfect. It seems better to let it stand for a little while before you frost the cake to let the the flavors meld.

Oven Fried Chicken II

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2006
This is a good basic recipe. Like the others I made changes, but I believe this is more of a method than a recipe, so I made it my own and it was great. Chicken came out tender and moist. Thanks

Mushroom Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2006
This is a keeper. Tastes great and you can do so much with it. I made it as is, but I can see where this recipe is so easily changed to what you have on hand. I will make individual ones for party snacks. Thanks for the recipe.

Sausage Gravy

Reviewed: May 10, 2006
This is the recipe I use and it is very good. You need to season to taste with salt and pepper I also use accent and that really brings out the flavor. Good hearty breakfast or for any meal.

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: May 14, 2006
Not a bad recipe, but next time I will tweak it for my family. The extra garlic was a good addition, but less lemon and mustard for me. I'll give it another go with modifications and see how it goes. But all in all pretty good.

Spaghetti Olio

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2006
Although this is good with butter, it's even better with olive oil. Give the oil a try and then add some parmesean cheese to top. MMMM

Great Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2006
Like others I used fresh minced garlic instead of powder. Melting the butter makes the difference in this recipe. Just great! I will make it this way from now on.

Baby Back Ribs

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2007
These are wonderful. I made them before and now that I'm making them a second time I had to write. This method is so easy and it comes out just like everyone says, tender and juicy. Use the sauce of your choice, marinate or not, you can't mess this up.

Sheryl's Baked Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
This is a method of how to cook a different baked potato. You have to use a sharp knife and then cutting the potato is easy. If fanning is difficult for you, you could take a sliver more between cuts and this help make a "fan" out of the potato. Nice different idea for serving a simple potato.

Crispy Herb Baked Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2009
This was a good recipe. Really needs tweaking to make it more flavorful, but the chicken was moist and tender. I used thighs, as that is what I had on hand. Can't say I would make it again as I like bread crumbs better than the potato flakes.

Excellent! Yes the water bath makes it creamier, but I made the recipe as is except I only had 1 apple. I'll make this again. A wonderful way to use stale bread. Thanks for the recipe.

Cheesy Sour Cream and Salsa Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2009
This is one great starter dip. I rate this high because as written it was a great dip. I also added my own touches after tasting by adding garlic and cilantro and a little salt. So great as written but as others have done, just added my own touches. MMMMMMM good!

This is how I have been cooking my sausages for a long time. A good friend of mine gave me this recipe. The easiest and best way to make your sausage tender and delicious! If you use hot sausage the hot flavor permeates the sauce. MMMM good.
