Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2005
These are very delicious. I love that you don't have to roll them out. They are especially good with frosting. The baking time needs to be closely monitored because I found that if they were even slightly overbaked, they weren't soft and chewy. Also, they seemed to loose the softnes once they were frozen. They taste their best when they are fresh. All in all however, a great recipe for sugar cookies.

This is a fun and easy treat! I used white chocolate morsels instead of baking chocolate and it turned out delicious!!! Great yearly tradition!

Amber's Super Stuffing

We loved this!!! I used regular stuffing instead of corn bread- turned out great. Very typical of stuffing yet better- the wild rice adds flavor and it didn't turn out dry at all.

Make-Ahead Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2005
This was great! I didn't have any onion or garlic salt so I used tastefully simple's onion, onion seasoning. It turned out good. We didn't really taste the cream cheese, not sure what it added?? I put it in the crock pot to heat and it turned out great!

Broccoli Rice Casserole

This was ok. It was a little putzy and kind of bland. I guess I was expecting a little more...

Apple-Raisin French Toast Casserole

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2005
Wonderful!!! I also used the pepp. farm bread also except I used a whole loaf and didn't use the crust. I also used 9 eggs. I think not using the crusts helped make it look more pleasing. Also, using more egg made the bread puff up and taste very light airy. Definately a keeper!
