Warm Greek Pita Sandwiches With Turkey and Cucumber-Yogurt Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2009
This was soooo yummy! Both me and husband loved it! The only changes i made was i used iceberg lettuce, light sour cream and added feta cheese as well. Just heated the pitas in the microwave for 10 sec to warm up, because they got too hard in the oven and it was just plan easier that way. Thanks so much for the yummy recipe.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
Very Yummy sauce, but even after cooking the biscuits for 1 1/2hr they were still too soggy for our liking. But despite that i would defiently make again and just bake the biscuits in the oven and then eat with the chicken sauce. I also added i can of chicken broth instead of water, added garlic pepper, paprika and garlic powder to chicken. Put cut up carrots in as well and used i can each of cr. chicken and cr. mushroom. I just used 3 frozen chicken breats and cooked on high for 5 hrs, shredding the meat an hour before eating and adding frozen peas as well. I definetly like having the veggies in it. Overall will make again, but without putting the biscuits in the crockpot. Thanks!

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Dec. 11, 2008
Very very yummy!! I think i would prefer it over rice instead of egg noodles though. I also added garlic and used yellow onions instead of green onions. I also mixed the flour in the broth before adding to pan so i wouldnt clump. I also used light sour cream and omitted the white wine and it was very creamy and rich still. Overall will make again, thanks!

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2008
This was soooo yummy! My husband could not stop eating this and just couldnt get enough. The only changes i made was i used Zesty italian dressing and added some chopped onion and 2 gloves of garlic to the sauce, i also used half sweet bbq and half hickory bbq and i think the hickory added a nice touch and thats why my husband loved it so much .. I then served it with cheddar cheese and chopped green onions. What a hit! thanks so much.

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2008
This was very yummy.. both me and my husband had seconds, it wasnt divine, but a Great comfort food. I used fresh onions and garlic and cooked the chicken in 1/2 cup of chicken broth, then added the rest of the can at the end and made a sauce adding 1 1/2 tbsp of cornstach. I served in over mashed potatoes.. will make again!

Penne Pasta with Spinach and Bacon

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2008
Okay......so yummy and so easy!! I actually did a few changes because that is all i had on hand. First off i just used whole wheat spaghetti since i didnt have any penne and loved it.. will have to try with penne though. I also didnt have real garlic so just used lots of garlic powder, added red pepper flakes and some oregano. I also saute some onion with the bacon and i used 10 strips of bacon instead. Then i just used the same pan and added the tomatoes and added the spinach to that just before serving. I am actaully suprised and how divinely good this was.. Definetly a favorite!! Oh and also topped off with some parmesan cheese.

Beef Teriyaki

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2008
Good base start recipe... but definetly needs tweaking, if there was 3.5 stars i would have rated it that. Overall, very good and will make again! This is the variation i did, first seasoned the meat with Mrs. Dash and pepper prior to frying, then when the meat was almost done added some soy sauce and teriyaki sauce to marinade the meat a bit more. Then i also added to the sauce 3T of soy sauce, 2 T of brown sugar, 1/2tsp fresh gr. ginger, 1 tsp Teriakyi sauce, some red pepper flakes and an extra 1/2 tsp of cornstarch to make a bit thicker. Was very yummy and Husband LOVED it.. Thanks!!

Cooking Light magazine's Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Mar. 6, 2008
Very very good. Also so easy. I just cooked the breaded chicken in the oven @ 350'C for 30 min (sprayed the pan with PAM), then added heated spaghetti sauce and the cheeses and cooked for 5 more minutes until melted. Came out perfect! I also used the whole bottle of sauce and added garlic and onion powder and some italian seas to the bread crumbs.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 10, 2008
Okay.. so i had almost given up on baking.. I have tried so many chocolate chip recipes lately and none have been that good. These are great!!! There are so chewy and soft..MMM! I did do a couple changes as others suggested.. I halved the recipe and then added 1 Tbsp of vanilla, i added 1 tsp of baking powder and some salt as well. I also used milk chocolate chips.. they were yummy but will try semi sweet next time or a mix of both. I also kept them in for only 7-8 minutes and they were by better than the ones that i had in more 10 minutes. Much softer! Thanks so much for the recipe will enjoy for years!!!

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2008
Pretty good... i will make this again because its just so easy and pretty tasty. I added potatoes and baby carrots to the roast as well. They tasted great! We ate the pork with BBQ sauce and applesauce, it was alittle to bland on its own, but pretty yummy dinner overall.
