This was great! I doubled it and made it in the slow cooker on high for 3 1/2 hours as another member suggested. Added a little nutmeg as well. I found it especially good warm the next day!

Chocolate Turtle Cheesecake I

This was excellent!! I doubled the cheesecake base to make a thicker cake and refrigerated the crust over night before making the batter and baking which helped the crust hold up better.

Chocolate Covered Cherry Cookies II

I changed the servings to 18 but still only needed one jar of cherries. I also added cherry juice to the mixture so it wasn't as dry, I only needed a tablespoon. I drizzled the chocolate on after baking but had to refrigerate to get the chocolate to harden. I followed past reviews and only made half of the chocolate coating and still had plenty left. Very good!

Soft Oatmeal Cookies

I reduced the sugar to 1/2 cup of each and skipped dipping the fork in sugar. They were wonderful. Next time I'll experiment with craisins, nuts, and chocolate chips!

Creamy Banana Bread

Make sure you divide the batter so you have room to add the dry ingredients in the middle and enough batter left to cover it. I ran out of batter and ended up having the dry ingredients sprinkled on top which still tasted ok, it just didn't look as appealing.

Italian Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Next time I'll make in a pan on the stove top but use the same ingredients. The endges burned too easily in my broiler. Very good though, especially with the sauce for dipping.

Simple Peanut Squash

This was my first experience with squash and I have to say it wasn't bad for a first try. I doubled the brown sugar, to get my boyfriend to eat it, and cooked a few minutes longer. Very good, basic recipe.

Scalloped Potatoes 'n' Franks

Nice surprise! I laughed when I saw this and made it because I thought my boyfriend, a huge hot dog lover, would like it. I used cheese hot dogs and mozzerella instead of swiss. Very good!
