Hoagie Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
My family - yes, even the picky one, LOVES this hoagie. It is never the same twice because I just put in whatever we have. I always use crescent rolls, eggs, cooked (scrambled) sausage, and top with egg/parm cheese. As for the other meats and cheese, just use whatever you have - get the kids envolved and let them help you decide. We've never had a problem with it being too greasy. Reheats really well too.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
Followed the advice of others and cooked in a preheated cast iron pan for 25 minutes. Other than that I didn't change a thing and it was great!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2010
Awesome. Took the advice of others and added 1 tsp. vanilla, 3/4 tsp cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp nutmeg to the batter before baking. With the topping I increased cinnamon to 1/4 and added about 1 Tbls of white sugar. Why make banana bread when these are so delicious?? Thanks for the recipe!!

Annie's Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2009
This was great. Used what I had in the fridge...apples, kiwi, strawberries, and pears. Used Splenda white/brown instead of regular sugar and sugar free strawberry jam. No leftovers!!

Made this for a Christmas/New Year's party and everyone loved it. Made this the morning of the party, so took others advice and froze in ice trays and sandwich size bags which worked perfectly. Thanks!!

Followed the recipe as written and these were great. My only problem was that I should have made 2 batches!

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: May 27, 2007
Great recipe! Took this to a dinner club last night and everyone asked for the recipe. I used fat free condensed milk, low fat cream cheese, and fat free whipped topping. I beat the cream cheese and condensed milk together first, then added the pudding mix and vanilla and beat again until smooth. I gradually added the milk in last. Layered in a trifle bowl and topped with crushed wafers.

Stuffed Shells I

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2005
Made this for dinner tonight and my picky 7 year old even asked for seconds! Took advice from others: boiled pasta for 2.5 minutes less than the package directs call for and used the KitchenAid and pastry bag for the cheese mixture - also added a little salt and garlic powder. Didn't have mozzarella, so I used Colby/Jack mixture. Covered with foil for the first 20 minutes of baking. This was great...thx!
