About this Cook
Married with two grown children and a wife of 33 years. Have lived in the New Orleans metropolitan area for 33 years. I am a manager for an oilfield service company formerly run by VP Dick Cheney.
My favorite things to cook
Gumbo by far is my favorite thing to cook. I love cooking creole and cajun dishes. I also love smoking, barbequeing and grilling anything on the pit.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Big Sunday family dinners, Big Holiday family dinners, Seafood boils once a month, Grilling and barbequeing in the backyard.
My cooking triumphs
I am asked quite often to cook for large parties. The top 3 requests I am asked to cook are; Crawfish Enchilada's, Seafood or Chicken and Suasage Gumbo and Red Beans and Rice.
My cooking tragedies
To many to mention. Biggest one, screwed up about a $200.00 seafood gumbo.
