Tuna Noodle Casserole from Scratch

Only thing I'd do different is to put the cheese inside while increasing the bread crumbs/butter mixture and also to turn the oven temp down to 350 degrees.

Potato, Ham, Broccoli and Cheese Soup with Baby Dumplings

This was really yummy though I made three changes: olive oil instead of butter (and I used about 1/2 as much), added about 1 cup of corn taken off the cob and only two cloves of garlic instead of the four. I will definitely make this again!

Buttermilk Pancakes II

This made really fluffy, light pancakes, just be prepared - it makes a HUGE batch. By the time I got to the end of the batch, they weren't so fluffy.

Garlic Chicken Fried Chicken

Oh man, this was SO GOOD! Used about 1/2 the oil and came out just fine. I also used Chicken Tenders instead of breasts and made some chicken fried steak milk gravy with the drippings and served with mashed potatoes. The flavor from the coating was really good, it stuck to the chicken really well. The only thing I'd change is next time I'll add a little cayenne pepper to the coating.

Frosted Banana Bars

These were super Yummy not to mention simple to make. The only thing I changed was to make home made cream cheese frosting instead of the canned stuff with the trans fat. It may be weird, but my favorite recipe for cc frosting is the Clone of a Cinnabon one here on Allrecipes. Oh man, it's good!

Mexican Sour Cream Rice

This recipe was easy and yummy! I was lazy and didn't put it in the oven though, just choosing to melt cheese on top in the pan it was cooked in. I think it would be good even if you didn't put the sour cream in it. The only thing I did different is add a can of Rotel instead of the can of chiles because I didn't have any. It had a nice little kick to it!

Green Pozole

There's not much I don't like but unfortunately, I wasn't too impressed with this recipe. Followed the instructions but the meat was dry. It seemed like it just needed more to it feeling like I was eating a bowl of meat and liquid. I probably won't make this again.

Bread Machine Honey-Oat-Wheat Bread

The flavor was good but a tad too sweet for our taste. The worst offense however was the fact that this was waaaay too much dough for one 9x5 pan. It flowed way over the sides making the loaf really wide. I followed the recipe as written and the loaf also squished when cutting the slices making the already wide loaf flattened to boot. I may try again cutting the sugar back to 1 tsp. and dividing the bread into two loaves.

Pork Tenderloin with Apples

Made the recipe as written (other than to cut the meat into medallions toward the end) and meh, it was ok. Though I am a big fan of sour foods, cinnamon and especially nutmeg, I didn't care for flavor the vinegar added and it seemed like there were too much spices, I didn't like the way the spices changed the texture of the sauce once it reduced a little. IF I ever decide to make again, I will omit the vinegar and reduce the spices. Also, those saying to slice into medallions? I don't recommend because it's too easy to overcook and toughen the meat. Won't do that again. :(

Made as listed,, will make again with the following changes: omit the milk, turn oven temp down to 400 degrees as 425 caused the coating to burn, add seasonings such as salt, pepper and herbs.

Crispy Fried Chicken

Chicken was crispy and moist but there was little flavor in the crust. Salt and pepper to taste is difficult because you can't taste until it's cooked then it's too late. Paprika isn't much for flavor either. I'll be looking for a recipe with more seasoning/herbs for next time.

Perfect Sushi Rice

I have tried this recipe five times now and my rice turns out starchy and smeary every time despite rinsing the rice until water is clear/following all directions. I have investigated other sushi rice recipes on the internet and it seems the cooking time is too long with this recipe. In the other recipes there is no oil. I will not make this one again and would not recommend it.
