Grilled Filet Mignon with Gorgonzola Cream Sauce

So good. This is one of my favorite meals. A local restaurant makes a filet with gorgonzola cheese, rock shrimp and asparagus. I steam the asparagus and shrimp, grill the filet, put it in the center of the plate, put a few shrimp and asparagus around the steak, and drizzle the sauce over all of it. Thanks for the recipe. 10 stars! I recommend making the augratin potato recipe on here. Just search for garlic augratin potatoes, and sort by rating. It's the highest rated one on here. Complements the fillet just perfectly.

Garlic Potatoes Gratin

These were outstanding. I used fresh parmesan in place of gouda because I was trying to replicate a local restaurant recipe. Delicious!

Crawfish Chowder

Quick and Easy Clam Chowder

I've been making a similar recipe for years. Only changes are 2 cans of potato soup instead of 1, no heavy cream, and 2 cups of half and half. I also add garlic powder. Delicious!

Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Very good. There was quite a bit of grease in the gravy when it was done, so next time I'm going to use 93% lean hamburger.

Ultimate Potato Soup

Very good. I took the advice of others and blended a portion of the cooked vegetables to make it creamier. A lot of people complained about it being salty. I didn't think it was salty at all.

Sour Cream Pork Chops

This recipe was delicious. The only thing I changed was, I added a can of cream of mushroom soup as one of the reviewers suggested. The chops were very tender and tasty.

Maria's Pepper Steak

I made some modifications and used some of the suggested mods. 1st, I made two batches of sauce, cutting the red wine vinegar in 1/2. I marinated the meat in 1/2 of the sauce for 2 hours. I stir fryed the veggies in olive oil 1st as others suggested, and then set aside. Next I drained the marinade from the meat and cooked it next. then I added the veggies and my 2nd batch of sauce with some red pepper flakes, and cooked a couple of minutes. Served over rice and it was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend cutting the vinegar in half or maybe more.
