Strawberry Rhubarb Coffee Cake

I agree with them new reviewer that the filling needs to be doubled as there's too much cake for the filling. I may make more topping as well very fun though.

One-Dish Rockfish

I didn't have fresh dill (who keeps that in the house?) I subbed in the chardonnay per many suggestions and made as directed at that point. Needed to cook a little longer due to the thickness of the filet but very moist.

Wow did I really just eat 4 of these hot from the oven? Yikes-yes, yes I did. But they were amazing. I may cut back a little on the cinnamon as it overpowered the sugar a little but otherwise, awesome!

Wow-amazing. I added chocolate chips to some-but they were yummy with or without, warm or cold, fresh or day old. I froze some and did a slice and bake-outstanding!

Honey Mustard Dressing II

Look no further. I was out of good salad dressing so I gave this a try. I served it over arugula topped with tuna salad mixed with capers. Outstanding-thanks so much for sharing your wonderful recipe!

Awesome-so glad these were featured on the site. I made it exactly as written (my bread crumbs were seasoned panko-no problem.) My son took one bite and was really surprised at how delicious they were-definitely a keeper!!

These were very easy but I agree that there's a little too much cumin. Some wanted more egg but I found them wet enough. SAve time and throw the whole thing in the food processor!

Caesar Salad Supreme

Wow-awesome!! I did use anchovy paste (Sorry to the purists but I hate working with the fish). Other than that, followed to the letter and it was amazing. I put salmon on it for protein as many restaurants do that (you could add chicken, shrimp etc.) LOVE not using raw egg-genius!!

Strawberry Jam

Great recipe with NO pectin! I never have pectin when I need it and it's really expensive but I was nervous using my fresh strawberries on an unknown. It turned out wonderfully. I did have to let it cook for around 1/2 hour til it reached 220 degrees but since I did, it gelled just fine. If others have issues, that's the reason-I used a candy thermometer. Yes, it's very sweet but I wouldn't change the amounts as it will affect the result.

Hummus III

I think if tweaked this is a great hummus recipe. So great to know exactly what's going in it. I listened to others and added a little cumin and cayenne for flavor/heat. I felt there was too much tahini so I had to add more lemon to balance it. Also, I was out of garbanzo and substituted canellini beans with no flavor/texture difference.

Raspberry Lemon Muffins

OMG THESE ARE RESTAURANT QUALITY MUFFINS!! I read through a lot of the reviews for the perfect one so here's mine (Only Minor changes!!) I used Greek yogurt, 2 T lemon juice (no lemon extract), 1 tsp vanilla, Fresh raspberries, and white sanding sugar for the top. The dough was very thick so I added 1 T milk. I sprayed the inside of the muffin liners as I think someone said they stuck.

Buffalo Chicken Wings III

Not authentic Western New York original recipe,but as a native of the area I can tell you these are excellent. The process made the juiciest wings I've had in a long time. If you want the dry type, this isn't the recipe you want. But if you want great flavor and excellent juiciness, then make these.

Banana Crumb Muffins

I have several banana muffin recipes (love Giada's on the Food Network). These were outstanding-did take advice of reviewers (thanks!) and added a small amount of vanilla and cinnamon to the batter. Otherwise, made as written including using butter not oil as one reviewer insisted. The topping didn't burn as others experienced (maybe oven a little hot) and wasn't cloyingly sweet since there was only about 1T per muffin.

Quinoa and Black Beans

Very good. Others suggested adding only 1 can of beans, I agree! I did add a little bit of tomato sauce as it seemed to need it for some reason. Otherwise, VERY EASY, quick, tasty.

Perfect Ten Baked Cod

Wow! Had to make a few alterations due to lack of ingredients. I melted butter, dipped cod, then dipped in crackers mixed with seasoned pepper and lemon rind. Topped with shredded parmesan and baked at 400 for about 15 minutes. Outstanding!

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

I'm eating them while still warm. Flavor is amazing-I did leave out the nuts as no one will eat them here but me. The cookies do fall apart while still warm (small price to pay) but I'm sure will be solid once they cool more. I did use 1/2 butter and 1/2 shortening as recommended and they didn't spread out as much which I think is a good idea.

Cream Filled Cupcakes

I saved this 4 years ago and finally tried the recipe now that Hostess is temporarily out of business. I wanted it to taste like one of theirs and while it was good, it was an average chocolate cupcake (not the dark chocolate they have) with a passable white icing. I used the chocolate glaze elsewhere in this site and it was excellent.

I used this for the cream filled cupcakes elsewhere on this site. It was outstanding and would make a great ice cream fudge topping as well! I microwaved as others suggested and added the vanilla at the end.
