Maria's Pepper Steak
Recipe gets 4 stars because it didn't really seem like "pepper steak;" more like a sweet & sour kind of thing. But it WAS really good; I added cornstarch and some hot sauce and it turned out nicely. I'll definitely make it again-- just not when I want pepper steak.

World's Best Bacon Cheese Dip
This is INSANELY GOOD! I made it last night for a pot luck and it was the most popular thing on the table. I gave it 4 stars only because I did make some changes based on the other reviews of the recipe: I used 1/2 c swiss, and 1/2 c mexican blend, replaced half of the mayo with sour cream, used 1 full package of pre-cooked bacon, and added healthy shots of worcestershire and tobasco sauces. I stuffed it in a bread bowl and baked for 30 minutes, then topped with the cracker crumbs and baked for about 10 more. There was not even a CRUMB of that bread bowl left; all that bacony, cheesey goodness soaked into the bread and made it to die for. I will definitely be making this again!

Insanely Amazing Jalapeno Cheese Dip
Really good and very easy. It looks like it took a long time to make. In my opinion, the best part is eating the bread bowl after the dip is gone. The flavors soak into the bread and make it sooooooo very tasty. It is very spicy, so if you don't like heat, it's probably not for you. The only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 was that it seemed to me like it was missing just a little something. I think next time I might use mexican-blend cheese or maybe even a little taco seasoning, just to give it a bit more of a complex flavor...but all in all, it's really good as is!
