About this Cook
I am a college student at ASU and I cook all the time for my room mates!
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking really easy healthy meals. We eat alot of chicken and vegtables. But I love cooking home-style meals like roast with vegtables and chicken and biscuits, but you can't eat that stuff all the time.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom isn't the best cook, but I've learned alot from her. I like just playing around in the kitchen.
My cooking triumphs
I had the idea to make a chicken and noodle casserole with a chicken flavored roux and vegtables. I made it from scratch and it was fabulous! I even crushed up an old baggette and mixed with a litte butter and topped the casserole with it. My ex-boyfriend and my room mates couldn't get enough.
My cooking tragedies
Too many to count. You can't be a good cook with out messing up.

Spinach Chicken Parmesan
I added some garlic to the spinich to give it more flavor because I had read that the meal was a little bland and added some cayenne pepper and italian bread crumbs to the parmesan cheese mixture. Very good. Still need to salt to taste.

Red Beans and Rice
This recipe was good, I added some parsley, cayenne pepper, thyme, sage and some cajun seasoning that another recipe suggested. I also used a red pepper instead of a green pepper and it was great. A big hit! Really good served with Corn Bread.
