Sausage Flowers

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2012
All three of my teens raved about these, they disappeared quick! I used turkey sausage, and prebaked the wontons in a regular sized muffin pan for 5 minutes, and had absolutely no issue with soggy bottoms. The bottoms were nice and crispy. Kids preferred them without the sour cream and just the green onion. These will be added to my appetizer rotation!

Cream Corn Like No Other

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2011
Made for Thanksgiving dinner, everyone loved it. Super duper easy and delicious! (I used 4 cans of corn, drained, and kept all other measurements the same. It was perfect!)

Buttermilk Pound Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2011
Very good pound cake. I have made this at least 6 times in the last year. I sub almond extract for the vanilla, simply because I love almond poundcake. I also use softened butter to grease the pan, it gives it a delicious crust. Very versatile recipe.

Bacon-Wrapped Potatoes

Completely delish. My teenaged boys devoured these. I chopped an onion and added olive oil, garlic salt and pepper and used that mixture in the middle. So good!!

Spinach Lasagna II

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2011
This was the first time I've not cooked my noodles, and I am so happy with the results, I'll probably never cook them first again! Just use more sauce than you would with precooked noodles. Awesome!

Cheese and Bacon Potato Rounds

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2011
My teenaged boys loved these so much that I ended up making them two nights in a row! My oldest is a potato skin fanatic and he said these were better than skins. I topped each with a swirl of sour cream and the entire pan disappeared in a matter of minutes! Thanks, Michele!

Awesome and easy, what more can you ask for? Followed the recipe exactly and it was devoured by the entire family, even my daughter who usually passes on potatoes.

I have made these many times, they are always great! For parties I keep them warm in the crockpot after baking.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 2, 2010
Amazing! Doubled the sauce so I could add some to the lo mein I made to go with these. I only brushed chicken 3 times total and they were still amazing. I left them in long enough to get crispy.....at first I tasted the sauce and thought, "eh....it's ok". But after baked on the chicken??? Fabulous!!!!!!!!!!

Sara's Pumpkin Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 26, 2010
This will be my pumpkin pie recipe for life. Instead of the separate spices I just used 2 tsps pumpkin pie spice. Everyone agreed this was the best pumpkin pie to date. Thanks Marlene!

Cajun Potato Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2010
This is so good. I used turkey sausage, taken out of the casings and browned with the onion and garlic. To make up for the lack of flavor there, I added red pepper flakes. Otherwise followed exactly, and it was great. My 18 year old son ate nearly the whole pot himself the day I made it. Thanks Chris!

Salmon Appetizers

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2010
These are easy and delicious! I used homemade salsa for freshness, and also after spreading onto the tortillas, I sprinkled with fresh chopped cilantro before rolling. Chilled for 4 hrs and they sliced beautifully. Thanks for sharing.

Fresh Strawberry Pie I

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2010
This is good, I only wish I had sliced the strawberries instead of placing them point up. The pie looked too sparse. Next time I will slice them and see how it turns out. Thanks for sharing!

Peanut Butter Popcorn

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2010
This was superb. It made a lot, so the next day I spread the leftovers out on a cookie sheet and placed it in my hot oven (had just turned it off after baking) let it sit for about an hour or so, and it turned into PB cracker jack. The kids LOVED it!
