Spicy Sausage Quiche

Reviewed: Jun. 24, 2008
This was so good, I could eat this every day. The only thing I did differently was add half a tub of light cream cheese to the egg mixture, which made the quiche even creamier and tasted wonderful when combined with the spices. This is a definate keeper!

Melt-In-Your-Mouth Meat Loaf

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
I have been trying to find a good meatloaf recipe and think this one is the best I have tried so far. I only had one egg to use but it still came out very tasty and moist. I did just cook it in the oven so next time I will try slow cooking it.

Cajun Chicken Lasagna

Reviewed: May 8, 2008
This was so creamy and melt-in-your-mouth. I have made this for dinner parties and get lots of compliments. I do put in slightly more Cajun seasoning than suggested, however, as I like my food with a lot of spice. I also have expirimented with Texan Chilli flvoured sausage, which is also very yummy.

Pork Apple Burgers

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2008
These were pretty good. I added half a cup of wholemeal breadcrumbs. Next time I might halve the terayaki sause as I found the burgers to be quite sweet. The burgers were very yummy cold the next day in sandwiches for lunch.

Pork Chop and Potato Casserole

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2008
This was really good with a few tweaks. I seasoned both the pork and the potatoes with a mixture of rosemary and paprika. I found I only had to cook it for 45 minutes as I sliced the potatoes quite thinly. I really enjoyed eating this and so did hubby.

So yummy and spicy, I served this as a side dish with empanadas. I am going to make this again as a main dish with corn and pork pieces mixed into it.

Cheesy Onion Focaccia

Thia had such a beautiful flavour and was a great success, even though it was the first time I have ever made bread. It tastes amazing! I will be making it for some family gatherings coming up, it's so easy yet has maximum taste.

Apple Hermits

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2007
These were so yummy! I put them in jars as a Christmas present to give to some work colleagues and they all stated that they were a delicious soft biscuit. I found the flavour to be subtle yet still there, and the texture was fanstastic.

Peppermint Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2007
Despite being chilled overnight, the fudge was still not set the next day which is majorly disappointing considering I had to go out any buy chocolote chips, condensed milk and peppermint candy. I wanted to give the fudge as a gift today but it is still in my fridge. If it does not set today then it will be a waste of expensive ingredients as I have already had to make cookies for presents instead.

Raspberry Meringue Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2007
I don't know what I did wrong but my pastry crust didn't seem to work out and the topping seemed to ooze into the pastry. It turned into a nice strawberry shortcake-like dessert though and was still super tasty, so I will try making it again.

This potato salad keeps really well and it was a big hit at a BBQ I went to recently. The vegetarians had three helpings as they couldn't eat anything else, and they said it was delicious!
