Cajun and Good southern cooking~ gumbos, jambalaya, stews, shrimp, redbeans and rice, pasta, and mexican dishes
My favorite family cooking traditions
all of the major holidays...lots of good cooks, lots of GOOD FOOD...also barbecues when we can all get together. That does not happen too often...I have 10 brothers and sisters.
My cooking triumphs
Perfecting Chicken and Sausage Gumbo, seafood gumbo, Beef, shrimp and Chicken Stew, red beans and rice... Have created great homeade Mexican dishes as well.
My cooking tragedies
trial and error perfecting my roux!
