Chewy Peanut Butter Brownies

Reviewed: Oct. 9, 2009
I thought these were really good, but could have used a bit more peanut butter. Next time I make them I will add a couple tablespoons, since I am a big peanut butter lover. Like others I added 1/2 cup of chocolate chips, and I think it makes the recipe. I will be making these again.

Gourmet Chicken Sandwich

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
This was fantastic and we will make this again and again. Only problem I had is I could not find focaccia bread and I am not a big baker. I used Cabata bread instead and it turned out great. The seasonings in the mayo made this recipe and for a touch of spice I added some horseradish.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Jun. 1, 2008
This is a great recipe and I only gave it 4 stars because the amount of ingredients. If you use the recommended amount of blue cheese it is too runny. I just use enough to cover the pizza crust. I use T Margetti Ultimate blue cheese and Frank's wing sauce. I also don't think you need as much wing sauce as the recipe ask for. Just enough to coat the chicken will do. We use Mama Mary's pizza crust which is the only one I can find at the store, but it is really good. This is now a family favorite with the needed adjustments. I was thinking of trying it next with some blue cheese crumbles as well, and will have to see how it taste.

This is so easy to make and tasty. My sister in law turned me on to this, and I always make them for the holidays.

Slow Cooker Chicken Cacciatore

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
This tasted okay but was not anything special. I made it for guest last night and one is extremely picky and he hardly touched it. My husband really seemed to like it, but again nothing special about it.

Laura's Quick Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
This turned out great and I will be making it again. I made it on Christmas eve for my in laws but I used real ground beef. I also did not use the can of soup and replaced it with a can of tomatoes and some tomato paste. My in laws always add two tablespoons of peanut butter to their chili and surprisingly this made it taste much creamier and really added to the flavor.

Tree-Shaped Crescent Veggie Appetizers

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
I also used real garlic as well and this recipe was a crowd pleaser. It is also super easy to make and very festive. I disagree with not using the dill weed because I think it is what makes the cream spread so tasty and a hint of green like a real Christmas tree. Now I just need to think of other shapes to make it for other holidays.

Four Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Dec. 28, 2007
I made this for Christmas dinner and got rave reviews from the family. Like others I only did one egg so it would not be to dry. I also added two tablespoons of dry mustard and used heavy whipping cream since I was out of half and half. I did not have all the cheeses so I just doubled up on some to replace what I did not have. My husband said this is the best mac and cheese he ever had, so I will be making this again and again.

Blue Cheese Garlic Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2007
This was good but not what I expected. I am a blue cheese lover and I felt the bread was too strong with it. There was also plenty of sauce left over after I put it on the bread. I am saving it for a blue cheese butter for a meat later this week.

Mini Mexican Quiches

I made this for a baby shower I hosted, and it was a hit. I used the sausage idea, and everyone loved it. I am about to make this again for my Pot Luck at work.

Bachelor Grilled Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2006
I am sorry, but that is disgusting. You could make a good grilled cheese in the same amount of time by grilling it, as in GRILLED CHEESE!

Sensational Steak Sandwich

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2006
I made this last night, and my husband and I loved it. We used cuban bread instead of french bread, and used the brown musard, and horshradish sauce, but mixed it with mayo. The marinade dipping sauce was truly excellent, and my husband is looking forward to the leftovers tonight. Putting it in the oven at 425 is way to hot to just heat up the sandwich, so we put it in at 325 f for 10 mins, and it turned out pefect.

Basic Baked Spaghetti

Reviewed: May 15, 2006
I have made this a few times awhile back, and for some reason forgot about this yummy recipe. Thanks to my recipe box on here I made it again, and wow it is so good. I of course make my normal sauce, and add mushrooms, onion, garlic, parsley, balsamic vinegar, and olive oil to my sauce. I also use the cheddar cheese, but I also add mixed Italian cheese to it. This dish is perfect for a cold winter night. I guess there is something about baking spaghetti for 30 minutes that makes it extra yummy.

Grandma's Green Bean Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2005
I made this recipe for Thanksgiving the last two years, and everyone loves it. By reading the other reviews I did make a few changes. I used low fat sour cream, and only used 1/2 a cup, and mixed it with half a can of cream of mushroom soup. I also used the frozen french grean beans and the fried onions. It is so easy to make, and with the change of ingredients it is great.

Kickin' London Broil with Bleu Cheese Butter

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2005
This was excellent, and my husband loved it. I thought at first the bleu cheese would make it a bit to strong. Instead it blended perfectly with the meat, and was wonderful.
