One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

I've made this recipe, as posted, several times, and have received nothing but rave reviews. Melt-in-your-mouth chocolatey goodness at it's best. Yummy!

I thought I'd try a new pancake recipe tonight, and after finding this one I'm so glad I did! These are quite possibly the best pancakes I've ever eaten. I suspect they'll be requested frequently by my kids. Yummy!

Grandma's Lemon Meringue Pie

I've read a lot of reviews by folks who've tweaked the recipe a bit, but as I'm a lemon meringue pie newby, I thought I'd follow the recipe as it was posted. Personally, I don't think it needs tweaking at all - it's simply perfect just the way it is. I've made 3 pies now. The first two disappeared shortly after making them, and the third is cooling as I type this. I suspect I'll be making my 4th pie in a day or two. Yum yum!

Szechwan Shrimp

Old-Fashioned Chocolate Fudge

First of all, to those of you giving this recipe a low rating because the fudge didn't turn out even though you 'followed the instructions to a T', I'm gonna go way out on a limb and guess that you didn't follow the instructions to a T. Otherwise, you'd be rating this 4 - 5 stars just like everyone else who followed the recipe and whose fudge turned out. Making fudge from scratch, whether using this recipe or any other, isn't the easiest thing in the world to do and you have to have patience to make it turn out. Having said that, mine didn't turn out. Because I was impatient. I didn't let it cool long enough before beating in the butter and vanilla, and I don't think I beat it long enough. However, I'm determined to do better next time. The flavour is unbelievable (nothing like that marshmallow garbage you buy in the store), and making it brought back so many wonderful memories of my mom making the exact same recipe for me when I was a kid. I've even been inspired to purchase a candy thermometer. Definitely a 5 star recipe...

Easy Chili I

Simple and delicious! I made it for dinner one evening, thinking there would be more than enough left over for another meal for my family. Wrong! Hubby and my kids loved it so much they ate it all . . . and my kids are very fussy eaters! Will definitely be making this again.

High Temperature Eye-of-Round Roast

Grocery Store Frosting

Every Christmas I try a new frosting for my cookies. This year I tried this recipe. I have no need to look any further. This is, by far, the best frosting I've ever made! The consistancy was wonderful, it mixed well with food colouring, and the taste? Amazing!!! I ended up eating more than I used to frost my cookies! I totally blame the recipe poster for the 10 lbs I gained this holiday season. Thanks!

Cabbage Rolls III

Walter's Chicken and Mac

I have three words - yummy yummy yummy! Easy to make, and oh so tasty! Next time, I'm going to try ground beef instead of chicken, and I might add a bit more cheese. Great with a tossed salad!

Mushroom Stuffing
