Reese's® Peanut Butter and Milk Chocolate Chip Fudge

Reviewed: Jul. 17, 2005
So yummy! Has the perfect consistency. We loved it, but wanted more of a chocolatey taste, so next time we will add some extra chocolate chips and use less of the peanut butter chips. Easy to make, but you do have to stir for quite a while. Yummy!

Gingerbread Men

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
So yummy- with or without frosting on top! Doubled the spices and added 1/2 tsp. nutmeg. Baked for 8-9 minutes. Great recipe. Fun with the kids! Will make again next year! Merry Christmas!

Overnight Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
Very yummy! Mixed milk with 8 oz. cream cheese to make a whipped topping instead of cream cheese globs- worked out nicely- no need for 16 oz. of cream cheese! As per other's recommendations...doubled the amount of blueberries, used 10 eggs, and added 1/2 tsp. cinnamon. The middle came out gooey (but not undercooked) may try baking for longer next time. Great recipe. Nice that you make it the night before! Syrup is AWESOME! Would be great to make for just ordinary pancakes too! Merry Christmas!

Southern Candied Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2007
Woo-wee! These were AWESOME! Best sweet potato recipe we've ever had!! Might try cutting down on the amount of sugar next time- 2 cups seems like an awful lot...but worth it! Merry Christmas!

Chewy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2009
Super yummy sugar cookies! The whole gang loved them! I too used butter instead of margarine and I put them in the fridge for about an hour. I did not have trouble with the dough being sticky or hard to handle. I rolled the cookies in a multi-colored sugar/ cinnamon mix to give them a snickerdoodle taste for the kids. For the adults, I ploppped the dough by the spoonful (didn't roll them into balls at all) and iced them with gingerbread flavored icing after the cooled. They turned out great both ways! They did seem to spread pretty thin after baking, but they were super tasty!!

Pistachio Crusted Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2008
Very yummy! Didn't change a thing and it came out super yummy! Made the raspberry dipping sauce to go with it, as others recommended, but actually used strawberry jam- couldn't find seedless raspberry. The dipping sauce really added to it! Will make it again! Thanks!

Best Lemonade Ever

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2007
"This IS the best lemonade ever! Two thumbs up!", says the 5 year old! It was fun and easy to make and super tasty! We used a juicer to juice the lemons (we used 8 lemons to get 1 1/2 cups of juice) and then used a sieve to strain the pulp. Thanks for a great recipe!

Swiss Chicken Casserole I

Reviewed: Jul. 24, 2007
Excellent! Used only 1 pound of chicken (4 chicken breasts) and only used 1/2 of a stick of butter. Everyone really enjoyed it. The Swiss cheese makes the dish.

Super yummy! Next time I will double the pumpkin pie spice. I used food color to dye the filling four different colors and made it a "tie-dye" pumpkin roll! so fun and the kids loved it!

Yummy zuchhini bread! Nice and moist! Left out the walnuts because husband doesn't like them and it was still great! Maybe next time I'll try adding in the walnuts and some raisins!

Penne Pasta with Spinach and Bacon

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2007
Great recipe! Used pre-cooked bacon and bagged baby spinach to make it easier. Turned out super yummy. May use an extra 1/2 can of tomatoes next time just to give it a little extra sauce. I like this recipe because there are so many different ways you can change it up. I bet Feta Cheese in it would be great, as some other viewers suggested!

Baked Salmon II

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2008
This was my very first attemp at cooking salmon and we all loved it! Even the three year old! I used a lot of other people's recommendations; only used 2 tbsp. oil and added 1 tbsp. melted butter, used half the basil, salt and pepper, used 2 tbsp. lemon juice and I used fresh cilantro instead of parsley just because we really like cilantro! Yummy! Will make again.

Orange Glazed Carrots

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2008
The whole family liked these carrots! Could probably cut down on the brown sugar to make it a little healthier and it would be just as good. The only changes I made were I added 1/4 tsp. of cinnamon and 1/4 tsp. nutmeg. Very tasty and easy to make!

Simple Spinach Lasagna

Reviewed: May 21, 2008
We all loved this lasagna! The only changes I made were; I used 4 oz. of the cheese in the filling and 4 oz. for the top (which I waited to put on until the last 10 minutes), I added a package of mushrooms and sauteed them with the other veggies and I used a 9 oz. bag of fresh baby spinach. Super yummy. Highly recommend.

Spicy Black Bean Potato Salad

This is the best potato salad I (and all my dinner guests) have ever had! The black beans make it a bit unique. Used red onion and regular potatoes because it's all I had. So good!
