Cordon Bleu Stromboli

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2012
I have brought this dish to many Holiday parties and it always gets rave reviews! I buy 2 rolls of bread dough. Pizza dough was a little too much. I also add honey mustard between the layers of ham and chicken. I prefer 8 oz. of each, ham, chicken, and swiss. Very easy and oh, so tasty!

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2012
Everywhere I take a cake with this frosting, I get asked for the recipe. The football team asks for the chocolate PB cupcakes!

American Lasagna

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
My husband actually made this and it was great! It has to be easy because he can only cook "canned soup" and hotdogs. Loved it!!

No Bull Burritos

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
This one was way to mushy for my crew. I like the flavor, but they gave it 2 thumbs down. Sorry.

Olive-Cheese Zucchini Boats

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
Good use for zucchini. I made too much "filling" and my boats were ready to sink. Next time I'll make 1/2 as much. Very tasty.

Tater-Dipped Eggplant

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
This dish was ok, but got no raves from the boys. They prefer the bread crumb version better.

Great way to use up those left-over cherry and grape tomatoes from the garden. Thanks.

No-Fuss Cinnamon Cheesecake

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2010
Very easy and very tasty. It is indeed more of a "danish" than a cheesecake, but very good. My husband and son loved it. My only addition to the recipe : I sprinkled some chocolate chips over the cream cheese filling. I did prebake my bottom crust for 5 minutes, no soggy bottom! Will make this again. Thanks. :)

What a great, quick dessert! I made the chocolate cherry cake and the boys loved it. Very moist and the flavor was great! I can't wait to experiment with other flavors. Thanks.

Slow Cooker London Broil

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2010
Loved the gravy, but tried this recipe with a top round london broil. Not as tender as I would've liked. I will try it again using a boneless chuck roast.

Cordon Bleu Chicken Rolls

Reviewed: Mar. 4, 2010
Nice, quick, semi-fancy dinner. I pounded out my chicken, but not quite thin enough. Used Virginia ham from my local deli and some swiss. Instead of rolling the bundles in the breadcrumbs, I brushed melted butter on top and sprinkled them with bread crumbs. I also thinned down the sauce with milk. Very good dish.

Easy Potato Sausage Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2010
If you are looking for quick, easy and delicious...look no more! I substituted a bag of frozen hash brown potatoes, canned chicken broth (instead of water) and turkey kielbasa. Followed the rest exactly and this soup was a bit hit with the boys. I will make this one again.

Chocolate Press Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 20, 2009
Just made these today. After reading the cookie press warnings, I decided to just roll the dough into 1" balls, top with a walnut half and bake. These taste just like little mounds of brownie. I baked them at 350 for 10 minutes. I found if I let them sit on the cookie sheet an additional minute to cool, they set better. I will definitely make these again. Thanks.

Crab Quiche I

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2009
I have to say, I was a little cautious about this one. I asked some coworkers if they ever tried a crab quiche, but none had. The taste was so mild, yet wonderful. Try this one, you won't be sorry. Didn't have the green onions, so I used shallots, came out great.

Easy Broccoli Quiche

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2009
We loved this quiche! I added some mushrooms to the sautee, just cause we love 'em. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to thaw out the pie crust, so I left it frozen. Quiche came out great!

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
Good pancakes. I usually replace the liquid with club soda in my pancakes to make them light and fluffy (works great, by the way). I didn't have any on hand, so made as directed. My son and husband really liked these. Thanks.

Beefy Baked Ravioli

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
Quick and easy. I tried using beef ravioli on the bottom layer...not a good idea. I would recomment using just the cheese ravioli. A nice recipe when you need a fast dinner.
