Chinese Coconut Pudding

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2005
Yum! This recipe is quick & easy. As suggested by Jillian88 I substituted coconut cream for the evaporated milk and coconut extract. However, I'll use less sugar next time as I found 1 cup to be too sweet.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2005
I'm a cheesecake fan. This recipe is brilliant!!!!! I've tried this recipe a few times already and have received many compliments and requests for the recipe. Definately works better with a water bath.

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2005
A bit disappointed considering all the rave reviews. The pancakes turned out too thick, salty and had too much baking powder. Will try again with adjustments - add more milk & sugar, omit salt and use less baking powder.

Baked French Toast

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2005
Tried this recipe after reading all the rave reviews. But I think I did something very wrong as it resulted in a overly sweet soggy mess. I did use normal bread instead as I didn't have any French bread.

Bread Pudding II

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2005
YUM! As suggested by other reviewers: I used 9 slices of bread (crusts removed), 3 eggs, 1 cup milk/1 cup cream, and had soaked the raisins in water for few mins before using them. I saved half the raisins to place on top of the mixture to decorate. Served it hot with vanilla ice-cream!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2005
this recipe turned out really well the first time i tried it. i'm impressed with how easy and simple it was to make. marinated the chicken with the sauce for an hour before baking. cooking time only took 30 minutes (15 minutes each side) instead of 1 hour. didn't need to brush with sauce every 10 minutes as i had placed extra sauce in the baking dish. only brushed more sauce on once after 15 minutes when chicken pieces were turned. overall, great recipe. did find the taste a little bit too sweet/sour but will adjust next time i try it again!
