Sicilian Pizza

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2005
I bought the dough at my local Italian deli ($1.00) to save time but the sauce was great. I love the chunkines of the chopped tomatoes. I think I would add just a few red pepper flakes next time to boost the spiciness.

Best Lemonade Ever

Sooooo good. Tastes like the lemonade at the mall. My kids polished it off in an hour.

Easy Devonshire Cream

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2005
Good. It was a little too cheesy for me and it needed a tad more sugar. The consistency was perfect and it went well with the cranberry scones.

Easter Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2005
Really good and very easy. I used potatoes o'brien so I wouldn't have to worry about chopping onions and green peppers. I like to use sausage and I cook it beforehand.

Buffalo Style Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2005
I used the pre-made chicken strips in the deli section. I also got dough from the Italian deli (.82 cents!!). I baked the dough for 20 minutes at 350 first to be sure of crispness. And I added thibly sliced red onion under the cheese. It was so good.

Asiago Dip with Crostini

Reviewed: Jul. 9, 2005
So good. Three people asked me for the recipe. I used garlic melba toast instead of makng the crostini because I was pressed for time. I also had to use paremesan/romano/asiago cheese mix as I couldn't find asiago at the market. Really good and quick to make.

Red Skinned Potato Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2005
Great salad. I did the 1 cup sour cream and 1 cup mayonnaise. I only used 1/2 of a red onion and chopped it finely. I also added two more yolks as my family loves yolks. It was rich and creamy. The bacon gave it a great surprise and I used the pre-made stuff to save time. Oh and I used half red potatoes and half russet as I didn't have enough red. I added a teaspoon of dill and of cayenne with lots of pepper. Everyone loved it.

Cranberry Scones

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2005
This was so good. I used dried cranberries instead of fresh, delicious. I also used sliced almonds instead of walnuts. Instead of half and half, I used one cup of vanilla yogurt and 1/4 cup of skim milk. I dropped tablespoonfuls and it made 15. They baked in 17 minutes. They were fast and easy. I can't wait to try it again.
