Slammin' Salmon

I made this and put half in freezer in marinade and half in fridge over night. Got screaming hot skillet with alittle oil. Seared skin side down for 3=4 minutes and finished in 400 degree oven for about 10 minutes. I don't care for salmon plain but I like it like this.

Cinnamon Belgian Waffles

Believe it or not I don't know much about waffles (we were pancake people growing up) but I asked for a waffle iron for christmas. I tried two recipies. This one was lighter and I liked the cinnamon flavor(I never pinch anything :0) but how do you keep them crispy without burning. I have decided a cooling rack in a slow oven to keep warm until all are cooked is my next move.

My family really enjoyed this recipe. We added purple onion because we believe the holy trinity of southwest cooking is jalapenos, cilantro and onions.
