Teriyaki Marinade

Reviewed: May 28, 2008
Yum! An excellent, easy marinade recipe. I usually have all the ingredients to make this on hand and can quickly whip it up to marinade chicken. Excellent on the grill or in stir fry!

Beer and Soy Sauce Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 5, 2007
I only used 1/2 cup of the soy sauce, nearly a whole 12 oz can of beer (not light), and added 3 crushed cloves of garlic (my family loves garlic) and marinated the chicken for about 6 hours. It turned out wonderful! Very moist, not too salty, and very favorful. This recipe is a great starting point for marinade, but I think it needs to be altered too much to warrent 5 stars.

Apple Oatmeal Crisp

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2007
I doubled the recipe and used a 9 x 13 baking dish, used Granny smith apples and added a bit of cinnamon to the crumb mixtured. Turned out wonderfully! I didn't find it too sweet as some of the others mentioned, I think the tartness of the Granny Smith's offset the sweetness nicely. Will be adding this one to my recipe box for an easy desert.

Crusty French Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2007
Yum! This was my first attempt at making bread without the help of a breadmachine. This recipe was easy and turned out great! I added a bit of garlic powder to the dough and it tasted wonderful. I gave it four stars instead of five because the inside was a little denser than I had expected (although that could be totally my fault)

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Jun. 18, 2007
Yum! Chicken was very moist and full of flavor. I had a bit of trouble getting the bread crumb mixture to stick to the chicken breasts, so after I put the chicken into the pan, I patted additional bread crumb mixture on top of each breast. You will definitely want to line your baking pan with tin foil for easier clean up!
